There were some fleas. Especially in dining room. It could use a flea spraying. It was a minor detail, because everything else was so charming.

Very quaint victorian duplex. Was actually quite spacious, with living room, dining room, kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. More than enough room for two. Host was very attentive and thorough. Location is great. Plenty of off street parking, too.

As a solo traveller I did not use the private living room off my bedroom. Seems like either rearranging the furniture to make it more comfortable or making it a second bedroom would work better. Bathroom shower was great complete with a quality body wash, but needed more surface area to put stuff in there and in the main bedroom, like another night stand or side table next to the chair. Used the bed to put my feet up since there was no foot stool. In a pinch that works.

Great location. Coffee and bars/ restaurants within walking distance. Street parking was always available. Even a neighborhood Target where I bought a folding umbrella. The hostess was so kind and friendly. I really appreciated the electric fireplace. Was unseasonably cold in late March. Next time I hope to get to walk to the farmers market with Kari and Bruce, her Great Dane. What an experience that would have been! Big thank you for giving me a feel for how the locals live!

Parking can be a challenge. We basically just left our car where it was when we arrived and walked everywhere. Given the lack of enforcement of property and drug crimes and as a recent victim of a car break-in while visiting Oakland, my sense of security for this area needed me to be extra vigilant. However, our car was left alone while parked at this location. I suspect the storms while we were there had driven many of the sidewalk campers off the street and into shelters.

Very good location. Many of the venues we wanted to visit in Old Scaramento were easily accessed by walking. Several very good restaurants were also within easy walking distances. The host was very welcoming and the place was spacious and had good furnishings.

The location was perfect for us to meet with our families on each side of the city. We were able to keep our pet with us for the whole four day trip. The host was the best.

Cute Victorian apartment in midtown Sacramento. Convenient location. Very quiet, impeccably clean, comfortable bed. I travel to Sacramento regularly for work and hope to stay here again! Thank you, Kari, for being an awesome host!

We were woken up 2 days in a row by their Great Dane running through the house right above the bedroom, at 7am each morning. The floors are paper thin, so we were very confused about why the owners thought that this was a great idea. They were apologetic about it but still...loads of confusion there about the why's. It is outright disrespectful to your tenants.
