The grounds were pristine and very relaxing. Like a small tropical jungle. The room was on the 2nd floor(room 5) with huge balcony that overlooked a not so busy street which was perfect for my morning coffee

Unfortunately, the room we stayed in the bed was very uncomfortable and the window unit AC didn’t cool down the bedroom area and there’s no fan and it was warm

Loved everything! Great location. Close to everything and very walkable yet just far enough away to be secluded and private. Having a suite was great. So nice to have room to spread out and kitchen facilities! Also, having a pool was great for relaxing after a long day of walking!

The ceiling fan in the bedroom wasn't working properly. It was a little warm sleeping. Had to ask for a box fan.

I can't think of anything I'd change.

This was our first trip to Key West... and it didn't disappoint!! And that's mostly because we had a great start at the Island City House Hotel!! The buildings are gorgeous architecture. They've really tried to preserve the old world charm while updating for modern tastes. We stayed in the 2 bedroom suite with my sister and her new husband. The living/dining room was plenty large for us to sit and hang... and we didn't need it, but the couch was a pull out to accommodate 2 more people. The kitchen was fully stocked and usable with a microwave, stove, refrigerator, sink. They offer complimentary coffee, water, snacks, and stock daily. The bathroom was so cute and well decorated. The water pressure was quite good!! I'm not used to that on an island. The bedrooms were nice. A bit smaller but we don't need a lot of room. There are tvs in both bedrooms. THE BEST PART.... is the bicycle rentals... these bikes... saved our world lol. They are $15/day. By far the best money we spent down there!! Cars are basically unusable... bikes are a must on the island!! The grounds and gardens... are spectacular. Absolutely amazing. It's so calming to sit in the sitting areas and just hear the water, birds, wind.... love it. The pool was nice, private, great furniture. We also received a $5/day coupon the the nearby bakery (3min walk)... which had the BEST croissants I've ever had... We will definitely be return customers. Thank you so much.

Aesthetically beautiful, the tropical canopy was amazing. The house spoke history. It is clean and comfortable with just the right blend of very old meeting semi new. The convenience of being so close to walk everywhere was great. When not out & about this property provided enough beautiful spaces to relax and enjoy your surroundings.Our stay here was wonderful and we will absolutely recommend this property.

Just a couple small complaints. The Fan in Bedroom had only one speed ....HIGH. Although everything is clean .... It seems like the wooden floors are not tended often enough.. ( my white socks were black ). It would be nice to have a bottle of water when they clean room.

We loved the location. The property had a very whimsical feel . It was very close to Duval street. Everything within walking distance. The ladys at the front desk were very very helpful and kind,upon arrival.

Limited parking but managed to park on main road close by but beware you are only permitted to leave vehicle parked for a maximum of 72 hours then you are required to move it and park in an alternative location.

Great location for Duval street, staff helpful and pleasant. Walking distance to all the main attractions. Beautiful gardens and pool area.

Master suite was beautiful with lots of storage space and king size bed...unfortunately the bed was like a brick! Sleep was hard to come by. A matress topper would solve this easily.

It was a wonderful little getaway, with beautifully keep grounds and heated pool. Our 2 bedroom suite with living room, full kitchen and amazing HUGE private porch was perfect. We also had the added BONUS of the resident cat Bert stay on our porch every night and visited us inside too....we are huge animal lovers and we're missing our beloved pets at home so this was a lovely extra.

Room had a musty smell and the bathroom could use some repair.

Great spot. Easy to get to everything. The grounds are beautiful and very well kept. Pool is small, but clean and heated.

A little more space in the appartement. We were three people and one had to sleep on the couch in the kitchen, so this was little bit close. Anyway, the appartement was all in all nice with a wonderful view to the garden and pool area.

Absolutely great hotel and very friendly staff. We loved the amazing architecture of the garden and pool area, just WONDERFUL. The room was cozy and very clean, we felt very well and enjoyed our stay. We would highly recommend the hotel and would love to come back any time.

Everything was perfect, they even had healthy bars for us in the kitchen. Rooms were spacious and great, outside veranda was amazing... we loved every bit of it! If we ever go back to Key West, this is the place we will stay!
