Dirty balconies, need steam cleaning and/or fresh paint. Immediately upon arrival I saw that the U.S. and Texas flags were torn and fraying. The Wyndham flag was torn/wornin half. This is not a 4-star hotel.

The room was hot even with the air running. The restaurant is another story. Went for breakfast the guy seemed like he was lost. You have 5 things to choose from. Eggs were runny bisket was hard. Had to ask for everything from silverware to jelly. Wouldn't recommend eating there.

Need some maintenance in the room bathroom faucet, bath tub, elevators, outside pool (jacuzzi didn’t working at all)

All the hotel staff are very friendly and nice. We arrived before check-in time but they did check us in right away.

The bathroom door didn’t close all the way and there were no other rooms available for us to transfer to. They also need bigger elevators. The wait could be very long during times when a lot of people were using them.

The location was excellent! We loved that we were just steps away from the beach. We needed an extra blanket and the lady at the front desk said they were out. A young man who worked there overheard and said he accepted the challenge and would go find one for us. Sure enough, he showed up at our door a few minutes later with a freshly washed blanket!

Hottub is not hot enough. It is warmer but not hotter.

The coffee that is used in the rooms and lobby could taste better and be better quality. I understand that it contributes to saving the turtles but for the price of the room I believe a good quality coffee should be included. Sunday morning when I went to the lobby to get coffee there were no more coffee creamers nor water to fill the Keurig. When I asked the young lady behind the desk, she made a face and told me that they were our of creamers and that she would check to see if they had water. What hotel would run out of creamers and water for the coffee in the morning. Talking to other people outside that were staying at the resort also mentioned that they were not happy with the coffee taste and creamer being out so they had to go and buy their coffee at Starbucks just like we had too.

I love the location of the resort along with the size and cleanliness of the room. The staff member that checked us in on Saturday night greeted us very friendly and was very helpful. Also, having the restrooms in the lobby was very convenient after taking a long walk on the beach.

They have two elevators, one of them was broke. Made for a hassle to get to and out of the room.

Elevator needs updating. Room hallway was needs to updated. Restaurant breakfast was not that great for the cost. Not very private. Could hear everyone in hallway.

Staff rarely smiled. The hotel deferred to booking company for every request. Service inside and out was very slow. Sheets had stains. Toilet paper holder was broken. The elevator was out of service. 6 flights of stairs were rough due to smell. Had to pay extra for parking at the hotel. I asked for a receipt at check out to make sure the $100 deposit for incidentals was refunded. I was told booking company would send me one. The refund has not been received for the deposit yet.

Floor in the room needed to be mopped.

Scrambled eggs were awful. Cook needs lesson in preparing them. They should be beaten in a bowl before frying, and not swimming in a pan of butter.

The room was not clean. There was dust everywhere. The blinds were broken and they were dirty. The view from the balcony was great but the balcony was dirty. There were stains on the door.

View was amazing. We were on the 3rd floor with a Balcony and the view to the ocean was amazing.
