I was not happy with our accomodations. I asked for an ocean view and paid for it and I did not get that. You had to walk off our patio and half way in the sand to see the ocean. I was made to believe I could sit on our patio and have a view of the ocean!!

The resort is beautiful and very relaxing. Enoyed everything there. Tides Beach bar and grill was the best!

Everything. We had chosen the newly renovated room. Tropical view. The room was large with a large lanai that was somewhat private. The breakfast was very nice and staff was amazing. The location is great. Their shuttle service to within a mile is all we needed. Our boat excursions started right from the hotel. the pool and outdoor area were perfect.

We did not have internet access for last two days of our stay. No carts were available to move our luggage. Having to make several trips from parking to room was not first class. You were kind to provide a gift of food. I was asked about arrival time but we were late. Food was at room temperature and we did not eat since it was out for hours before our arrival.

Very expensive place to stay; $17 for 2 eggs and hashbrowns for example; the ocean swimming area is gross; patio door does not have key-card access and is deadbolt only so you have to lock it and go out the front and walk-around if you want to secure your room when going to the pool. There is no microwave.

Pool area is spacious; landscaping is nice; private patio on each room; free kayak and paddleboard rental; rooms were clean; room service/cleaning was great. Customer service and friendly staff were top notch. Can park outside your room.

The housekeeping was so so. We had to ask two of the 4 days for fresh towels that they didn’t provide when they cleaned and staff was not friendly when we requested. This is a minor complaint but at 700 plus a night it should even have to be said. Food and drinks are expensive on property. Probably 1.5 times what they are out at restaurant / bars on average. Everything else was nice.

Location was central to Islamorada making everything convenient. Our room was close to pool with an ocean view. Very nice.

The room quality was similar to a cheap motel even though we paid about $700/night including taxes and resort fees. There were other higher priced rooms available but I did not expect our room to be so bare. Also cleaning staff did not come 3 of 5 nights. When they did come they didn’t vacuum sand off floor.

It was a windy day, all water sports were closed. My son wanted to play soccer instead but the recreational staff couldn’t locate the soccer ball. My son walked all over the property looking for one. Would have been nice if someone helped him or if there was a back up supply of balls. The pool waiter, while extremely attentive, looked at empty cups rolling around on the pool deck and just walked by instead of picking them up.

The newly renovated rooms are gorgeous and the complimentary toiletries are high quality. Very impressed with the welcome gifts and drinks!!! The front desk representatives were extremely helpful and kind. Our lanai was gorgeous and we appreciated the outdoor space. Parking by the rooms is also convenient.

The rooms were beautiful. Loved that they each had a patio and screened porch. The beaches were huge! We did not want to leave. We stayed at cheeca last time and felt the rooms at the islander are nicer and the beaches are bigger. We can’t wait to come back.
