Room was dated but clean. There were two chairs in the room. They were old hard dining table chairs. We had a handicapped accessible room #6. Only king bedrooms available with a tub for handicapped seniors. No hooks in bathroom for towel or clothes.

We are seniors. Good value for motel in the wine country. Room 6 was on the ground floor right next to the handicap parking. Nice large screen TV. The bed was excellent, they had extra blankets and pillows in the room. Their was lots of space in the room. Our room had a remote control for the HVAC and it help keep the room at a comfortable temperature. Overhead fan was nice. Real nice market and bar/ restaurant across the street. Beware there is no food option in the town after 8pm. Little shopping options in town.

Very dated property. Bare bones everything and not well maintained rooms. Mold in bathroom, doors don’t close, bathroom fan is deafening. Just too bad it’s not taken better care of.

    Beautiful Town and great location.

The location was perfect - about 25 min. drive to Sonoma Square Plaza, 5 min. drive to Jack London State Histroic Park, and, within walking distance to a cute French bakery and a popular restaurant - Glen Ellen Star. The room was clean and basic.

Our only complaint were our neighbors upstairs, they were very loud well into the evening/night, heavy walkers and the walls seemed thin, but we will be back for sure.

Great location, close to my moms house as she couldn't fit us all for the holidays. The bar was great, we will be back for dinner some time when back at my moms

It would be great if the room were darker at night. The blinds on the window gave good privacy but did not block outdoor light at night very well. Maybe a pair of light-blocking curtains could be added? Also, the lodge didn't seem very full, but all guests seemed to be in rooms piled on top of one another. Wondering if room reservations can be spaced out to help with coming and going noise when the lodge is not near capacity.

The location was great - close to 2 markets, a French bakery, wine tasting, shopping, sightseeing. The bed was very comfortable. I was able to check in a little early. The gentleman at the check-in office was very nice.

Our upstairs neighbors were a bit loud even after 11pm, but we just put earbuds in to block the footsteps and noise.

My mom lives in Sonoma and couldn't fit us all in her house for the holidays. I make it a point we go through Glen Ellen on our way home to Chico as we love the area. This will be our go to place to stay when she can't fit us all in her house. So glad we found this little gem to stay in next time we need accommodations.

All 3 mornings we were woken up early to the foot stomping on the floor above us. We were in 1 and our friends were in 2. We all had earplugs in and it didn’t help. It sounded like they were going to come thru the roof. Super thin walls. Our last morning the noise started at 4am for our friends and 5:30 for us. Even noisy at midnight. Never stay on a bottom floor if you want to sleep past 5am. I fly for the airlines and have very rarely had this problem. Three mornings in a row.

A bit pricey, could use some refresh. And for $250 a night I kinda expected robes and slippers (for going to and from the hot tub) that also was hot , but no bubbles

The shower was amazing, I have not had a shower that good since the government changed all of our shower heads to save water

Hard to adjust the room temperature- did not seem like whatever we tried made any difference. Ended up using the ceiling fan and opening the window

My only complaint is the shower curtain in the room. I had a hard time not flooding the bathroom.

The location is wonderful. We enjoyed the quiet. The French bakery across the street, Les Pascal, was great for breakfast and lunch. We enjoyed local restaurants and wineries but not too far from Sonoma A hike at the Jack London State Park is a nice break from wine tasting.

This is not a brand spanking new state-of-the-art peppery, but that’s not why you’d come stay here :) It’s exploding with character and charm.

This Glen Ellen Gem is perfectly located for delicious walkable eats and short drives to several quality wineries/ tasting rooms!

The rooms were a bit dated - though clean. Upgrades would be nice given the price point (of course, everything is expensive in the area).

The location is excellent! A quiet area tucked at the booth of a hill.
