Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The room and the hotel corridors had a very strong smell of cigerettes, the coffee machine was broken, the floors were mopped with dirty water so when the bathroom floor got wet it turned to mud, the sliding door was sealed shut so no fresh air at all. The bath/ shower filled with water while showering because the drain was clogged so dirty water came up. The hotel had a pool which was advertised but it was green and unusable. Breakfast was on offer but there was very little to choose from, and had often run out of stock.
The Room was large, the beds were very comfortable, Staff were lovely and helpful.

Breakfast was sad, i ended up with a cup of coffee and a small bowl of Raison Brand The crackheads hanging out front at 9pm was my first clue that the area is not my first choice in the morning, A man approached me in the back of the hotel where i parked and attempted to ask me for something, i told him to get away from me and he did not at first, there is no security anywhere for these vagrant people.

The deadbolt would not work the bathtub was so slick I almost fell and had to put a towel in it to keep my wife from getting hurt... Went down for breakfast at 8 and there was no coffee no fruit no bread and when I bought this to their attention they didn't seem to really care...
The room was very nice and the bed was really great for sleeping...

Cleanliness, bathroom was dirty hair was on the and in shower. Toilet seat had old blood under the seats. I showered with my slippers on , the price is good for what you’re getting. Honestly, I’d rather pay a lil extra for Cleanliness , I won’t ever stay there again!
The staff was helpful and friendly. The housekeeper miss Dot showed me to my room and was very polite to me.

Needed several repairs, corners were dirty, shower curtain rod needs replaced,it was rusty!! Walls & woodwork need repainting! Bathroom upper corners had mold! We were too tired after driving all day or would have gone somewhere else!!
Jeff at the front desk was very helpful & friendly! Bed was comfortable, but I do not like the higher beds!!

Wish the pool was open & heated to be used & i asked for towels for me& my daughter & could have been treated better from the maids because didn't know the their rules on their service u know.

first room was all the way in the back of the building has no elevator so you have to use a sketchy looking staircase that has a door to access it. Room smelled horrible, noticed two bugs when I walked in and covers had burn holes. Asked for refund and was showed room right behind check in area. This room smelled like cleaning solution, better location an cleaner. The location was great for work but that’s it probably wouldn’t book this one again.

older and needs updated. oatmeal, coffee, hot chocolate, orange juice, milk, 2 types of dry cereal, and small chocolate chip bars for breakfast. shower was small and the curtains didn’t extend beyond the tub like most do. trash was piled up around the hotel and had to ask for more towels because one washcloth and not enough towels for 2 unless we’d have shared.
