Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Towels /rags dirty sockets on hold side not working, microwave loud broken inside,kids running hall way,washer and dryer only one of each dry doesn’t dry well ,elevator stop working,fitness area isn’t up or open ,pool it’s up are running been here a min what breakfast bar? Hair in sheets and rags,towels old and for the price it’s 🫢😤🤬

I didnt like that the bathroom had roaches , the tv wouldnt work with the remote and we spent one whole day there going back and forth with the front desk trying to get the tv to wrk, they wouldnt give us any type of discount or anything but they did move us to a different room which was really inconvenient, the room doesnt come with any cups and the housekeeper left a used towel hanging on the lamp and the from the previous guest and the front desk said it was “no big deal” which i thought was completely unsanitary and it should of been removed immediately. she left it there.
I love the rooms! they are very nice and the matresses are soft!

Saw two tiny roaches and I believe they turned off the elevator at a certain time, around 10 because I literally checked in, looked at my room grabbed food came back and they claimed the elevators had broken but I never saw them being fixed and they were working fine the very next morning. That's bad.

When I arrived the police we’re onsite Staff asked me if I wanted a smoking room I stated yes, was offered a king room when My reservation was for a double room. I was given a no smoking room however the room smelled like smoke, bathroom and floors we’re dirty. I asked for extra sheets and toilet paper received nothing. Guest we’re laying loud music all times of the night in the hallway and outside my room I called the front desk twice from my mobile phone because no telephone was in the room. My tv had only 4 working channels and only 2 of those channels worked. I killed a big cockroach in the bathroom. When I brought all these concerns to the front desk they did nothing...that will be my last stay

Police at Jamestown all day and all night, because the rooms were not as clean as they should be and the front desk constantly argued or not understanding the complaints.

Ac was not great and took hours to cool the room, there were no linens for the pull out couch, no TP in the bathroom and when I tried calling the front desk it went to VM.
Room was large, bathroom was clean and bedding was nice.

The loitering of people in the Lobby being excessively loud is disturbing. If all the hanging out in the hallways, lobby and front would decease would be more inviting and less ghetto.
The price and location is perfect. A diverse of restaurants and grocery stores.

The hallways needs a little more of a remodel and little more with the cleaning crew. If they had breakfast as well it would be good too, because there was no continental breakfast.
I did like the general feel of the rooms, the renovation was quite nice in the rooms from what it apparently looked like before.

The bugs , the sheets was nasty , the tv barley be working then I stayed there for 1 night & the pillow was nasty so when I came back another day they ended up giving me the same room back !! Why was the same nasty spot on the pillow so that mean that never changed it

We got the tub suite, the tub kept shutting down and the we had no hot water in the bathroom, we went to the front desk and complained about it at which point we were told that somebody will come and look we waited for over an hour and then called back again. They not allow us to switch rooms and that we had to wait until morning when dayshift arrived for anything to be done. We are in no way shape or form compensated or apologize to for being put in a room that was broken
