The location is in shady street, can driver advised me not to go out after dark. As soon as you enter you’re hit by a mix of foul odors. Cleanliness is non existent. On top of the bathroom lamp there was an inch thick layer of dust. The sheets were stained. The tv was on but the remote control was missing.

Very bad experience. You don't even get a can of water. Cockroaches everywhere in the first room I was given. So I asked for a change of room.

1. They were no toiletries in the room upon our arrival. 2. The toilet was not properly attached to the ground. 3. The room was not properly ventilated as there was lingering smoking aroma.

The first room I was offered had a roach in the bathroom toilet. I wasn't a fan. The internet and cable weren't available for over 8 hours for one of the days I was there. And the microwaves in the lobby didn't work.

The location is close to the train and buses.

Very small room, no table or chair, there was no blanket just bed sheets so had to ask for a blanket, very thin walls and you can hear loud conversations of others and their TV playing. No dedicated parking spots, which means searching for parking spot around the area may take an hour or more since its close to Far Rockaway-Mott Avenue station.

Hotel room has a nice marbled floor.

The pictures are not accurate. The toilet couldn't flush properly. My room had bugs. Could hear everything going on outside and inside the hotel. Tv was broken and had lines going down the screen. Won't be stay here again, ever.

Was given a room that smelled like cigarettes and cannabis smoke carpet was dirty. However, I went to the front desk to report it to the staff, and the staff was accommodating and changed my room. There were people just hanging around the front door. The microwave was dirty. I couldn't use it

To much noise, in my room there is no where to put my clothes and they didn't give breakfast cause I spent 4 nights for 366.40+588.78, you imagine that without breakfast it wasn't good.

It wasn’t clean. I was not expecting the staff to be very young and unprofessional. The room was old, stains on the wall and bed. The room smelled old and stale. A lot of noise in the building. People banging on the doors T 5am in the morning. Horrible experience.

Change your checking in and out time to be normal.

Location may be okay but the checking and checking out is very poor. We ha to pay extra $50.0 for coming earlier than 2pm for that day. We were so tired and paying extra money is exploitation. Please tryvand reverse this aspect. Many places is check in and out is between 11:00am or 13:00pm on the dot. Very poor in this regard. Please change.

The hotel is bare-bones accommodation. We rented a room for one night because we had ~20 hours left before our return flight after we checked out of our midtown Manhattan hotel. We needed a place with a bed and a bathroom, and Hotel Mint does indeed offer both. Reasonably nice bathroom, even. There was no phone in the room. That's a first for any hotel I've ever been in. The lobby was non-air-conditioned, which was not so great after an hour and a half train ride from the city. Then when we got to the room, the AC there had been shut off, too. Took a while to cool down. But it did cool down. And ultimately, we feel that we got our money's worth for the time we stayed. I would not book this hotel again for a longer stay, though.

Location right at Far Rockaway subway stop is great - if you don't mind riding the A train to the absolute very end of the line. Seriously - it's 8 or 9 stops past JFK airport, and easily a 1.5 hours ride from Penn Station. But to the hotel entrance from the subway station exit is maybe 40 steps - felt perfectly safe even at 2 in the morning.

There was no parking, I got there late and people were smoking marijuana right in front of the door. There was so much noise of people fighting in the middle of the night. My tv wasn’t working, no towels in the bathroom.It was a terrible experience

No breakfast provided. Location next to elevated train line. Location in residential area. No towels provided in room and took very long time to get them once notified to front desk. No in-room phone to front desk. Door latch broken. Smoke alarm not in room. Large hole in bathroom ceiling. No place in bathroom to hang towels. Had to take stairs down to reception from entry level (with luggage).

In-room WiFi was good.

One of the rooms booked was upgraded to a suite, internet and Roku worked well after I had to configure it myself. Staff was friendly.
