Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaMy lower rating on value was simply because the rate was considerably higher this particular week than normal.
I unfortunately didn't know about the breakfast or free wifi. But I was there for a VERY short stay and wasn't able to take advantage of that anyway. The staff was very thoughtful and accommodating, doing everything they could to get me into a room as early as possible, as I was exhausted having arrived into New York on an overnight flight. It would have been completely understandable if this didn't work out, but again they went out of their way doing what they could to help me. That was really appreciated!

ItalyLEAVING A $200 SECURITY DEPOSIT THAT THEY DID NOT SAY WHEN IT WOULD BE PUT BACK ON THE CARD.
THE LOCATION AND PRICE WERE FANTASTIC RIGHT BY SEVERAL SUBWAYS ITS REALLY IN CHINATOWN AND NOT IN SOHO BUT THAT DOESN'T REALLY MATTER. VERY WELL DONE AND NEEDED LEVEL OF ACCOMMODATION IN THE AREA. WISH THERE WERE MORE AFFORDABLE AND DECENT ACCOMMODATIONS.

United KingdomThe room was extremely noisy with traffic outside. I accept the hotel is on a busy road but suggest they invest in noise suppression windows. The supplied ear plugs are not sufficient.
Service pleasant

United States of AmericaThe room is small and the building is old. But it was clean, and the bed was clean and comfortable. Location is excellent. I was alone in a standard queen room, so it was OK. I would not stay there with my husband - too small. If you need - pick a bit bigger room.

United States of AmericaIt looks a bit old but not so bad. If you need to work in the room, there's no desk where you can comfortably do it (at least not in my room)
Good location close to Chinatown, Soho, Little Italy and to Brooklyn Bridge. Room was quite spacious. Bed was OK. Bathroom was OK. Staff is willing to help. Subway station right at the door.

GermanyIn my opinion this is equivalent to a good Motel 6 elsewhere in the country. It does the trick and is practical but I just kept wishing I had a more comfortable room and more space. Bed was too soft for our liking. The blanket was very thin and polyester so I was cold but sweating at the same time. Street noise is also noticeable with earplugs. We also felt the subway passing below (we slept on the 4th floor). The room is very small for two people.
Location is very practical with subways going North, East, West and South. Price is also good for NYC. Rooms have all needed things (soap, fridge, TV, blow drier). I liked that a code was used to access the room and hotel (no card that you can lose). Free coffee or tea in the lobby is a nice add-on.

United States of AmericaOnline check-in process is unnecessarily cumbersome and has a few glitches. Problem could be resolved easily at the front desk but why make it so complicated in the first place.
Fantastic location right on the edge of Soho. Great value for money. Room has decent size. It also has thick windows so noise from the street is barely perceptible.

United States of AmericaThis hotel cannot provide an itemized receipt when booked through Booking.com. I was not able to have it reimbursed due to this issue. Business travelers beware.
I liked the location and the style of the rooms. Right in SoHo and easy walk to shopping and other attractions. Canal street close by for those who are looking for that type of shopping.

United States of AmericaI won’t say I didn’t like this, but as others have said it can be quite loud due to the outside noise. My room was on the corner so I did hear all the horns beeping, cars driving by and at times the people. But the hotel did provide ear plugs and after a while I was able to just ignore the sounds.
It’s a cute boutique style hotel. Very close to food , shopping and the train. I was able to hop on the train easily , walk to multiple coffee shops, and venture down the road to shop at the plethora of stores.

United States of AmericaThe beds were way too soft. For someone suffering back problems like me, the bed was really bad on my back. The built in desk only had a stool to sit on with no back support.
Rooms and hotel were really clean. Check in and check out were easy. Coffee and snacks were provided.

United States of AmericaI didn't like the wash sponges. Would bring a wash clothe if I stay in the future. The horns blowing was nust. But I am not from there so this may be an unfair comment.
This is a hidden treasure. So very cute. The rooms are small but not too small...cozy actually. The staff at the front desk were so friendly and helpful. The traffic was crazy but I am not from there. I recommend this place.

United States of AmericaStay was mixed bag. Right off the bat trip starts with checkin that takes forever. I book 3 days but for some reason system has me staying in 1 room 2 days and then switching mid-stay. which sucks. Luckily women behind counter was amazing and was able to fix it. she also helped me later when smoke alarm wouldn’t stop beeping. That was resolved only to happen again later in the week waking me up then there was a time when my room randomly changed codes out of no where. Stay wasn’t great but did really appreciate staff for being attentive and helping me as much as they could
Amazing location right off Canal and super close to the 6 and NRW. Steps away from Chinatown and Soho
