Beautiful view from room 509. Comfortable beds. Walk in showers. The gazebo was great for viewing the ocean without being in the sun. Nice outside pool. Helpful staff!

Most of the rooms are not on the beach. Most of the rooms face into a parking lot. The pictures are misleading as there are no pictures of the motel style rooms with doors that open into the parking lot.

We were disappointed that even though we had a view of the beach from our balcony, we could not hear the sound of the waves due to the loud a/c units for the hotel that were just outside & below our balcony.

Location was convenient to attractions & beach.

Would not stay in room over laundry. Noisy dryers until sleep time. Impossible to sit on deck.

Breakfast ok. Would prefer actual sausage eggs etc in warmer bins. Remodeled rooms.

Other guests loud at night. Yelling doors slamming etc. Seemed to quiet down by 11pm.

you name it, parking sucked, hallways narrow and hard to maneuver mobility devices. rooms small, housekeeping on appointments, handicap NOT accessible ,breakfast was lacking , beds way to soft, needs remodeling and coffee sucked big time (even had to run out and buy coffee pot and coffee from department store). spend the extra money and go on down the block to one of the chains.

No comfortable chair in room. I'm short and trying to climb on and off bed was a shore with a new knee replacement. All that was there was a desk chair no arms. And there was room for one.

Bathroom size was miserable. Sliding door to bathroom provided little privacy. Ocean front room was misrepresented. All we saw was a sand dune and wooden wall.

Breakfast was amazing and woman who ran kitchen was awesome!

A brief warning for disabled people: There are steps and stairs everywhere in the Sea Building. The owners have tried admirably to make accessibility possible. We would not have been able to stay if we couldn't walk in some parts of the building. The halls were too small and the many turns in them and the outside ramp were impossible for the mobility scooter to navigate. Obtained help from a strong employee, Peter, to unload and load our stuff which included a larger O2 concentrator.

Everything was great. Breakfast and the coffee were more than just a continental meal. Room was clean, bed comfortable. Bathroom immaculate. Service was good for our needs. We got free passes to the Outer Banks Y because the pool was not open. Location and beach area wonderful! There was a sitting area with a day bed right near the balcony so you could rest and see the ocean in addition to the balcony chairs.

It seemed there was barely enough parking, even in May when all the rooms weren’t full. Sometimes had to park on the complete opposite side of the property. Breakfast was really just pastries, very little protein options.

Very easy access to the beach with a beautiful gazebo. The balcony was great, room was very clean. Great water pressure in shower. Picnic tables outside, ice and water machines, foot washing area. Very nice place!

The cleanliness was not up to par, gum stuck under the table, carpet was dirty in the hallways, and I even seen a bug run across the floor.
