Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaIt is an old motel that has been minimally updated. There was no electrical outlet in the bathroom that we found. We had to get an extension cord in order to use the blow dryer in front of a mirror and to do that we had to unplug the microwave. The outlet that the microwave and fridge were plugged into was loose in the wall. The bed had what seemed to be two thick pieces of foam on the mattress leaving a crack that ran the width of the bed that my ankles and heels kept sinking into - very distracting when you're trying to fall asleep. Parking was also a problem. There is no extra parking nearby and the bar/restaurant has live entertainment that draws locals making it hard for those who have paid for a room to find parking. At one point, we got the very last spot in the lot and it was nearly impossible to park near your room unless you park in the afternoon and not leave again.
The staff was really friendly in this vintage motor inn. The restaurant/bar had live music and most of the food we ordered was quite good. It was very close to where we were working and there is a hotel right across the street with a great breakfast.

United States of AmericaThe service at the restaurant was sub-par. We waited over an hour for 2 hot sandwiches (which were very very good). We were waited on promptly and got drinks but no one came back to the table the whole time we were waiting on our food.
Room was very clean; bed was comfortable; pillows were not. Bathroom fully stocked and clean.

United States of AmericaLoud live music from the bar but it was kinda enjoyable but I didn't enjoy the super loud guests that came back after the bar closed. Super thin walls so you can hear everything especially when they are out on the balcony until 1:30 a.m.
The bed and pillows were super comfy and the room was very clean and smelled great. Super friendly and helpful staff.

TurkeyTwo things would improve the hotel. The air freshener in the room was OVERPOWERING! We had to get it out of the room. The people next door set theirs out as well. Second, the pool is very nice but really needs a shaded area to sit and that hangs a little way over the pool. The sun was intense. People watching their children or wanting to sit around the pool need a shady spot. I had to limit my swim to morningtime because I can’t be in the sun.
The room was comfortable and clean. Nice central area outside under the pines. Nice restaurant with activities like trivia and music, good food. Great location. Friendly, helpful staff. The pleasant, shady back porch was nice. Classic motor lodge and liked the old Joy Hotel sign that I remember from years ago.

United States of AmericaNo house keeping services. No ICE. TV remote worked sometimes you needed to get up close for it to work.
The staff was greatl! The pool needs re-hab, but it was cooling and friendly. Had a Bluegrass/ Rockabilly on Monday and a fun crowd. It had a nice balcony. Not fancy. No ice, and we did not receive room clean towels and took our own trash out. We had a ball! .Room 204, we moved over a room because the AC wasn't working. No problem.

United States of AmericaIt needs some updating. The carpet was a little nasty and the tub wasn't draining well. The room was huge but dark. Needs some better lighting.
It's a really friendly, quirky no frills but plenty of character kind of place. There's a great bar and restaurant on the property. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. Having terraces on both sides of the room was really nice.

United States of AmericaWe had a hard time finding the office when we first arrived. We did not realize it was in where the bar is. The pillows were very flat and uncomfortable and the bed was not very comfortable either.
Our cabin was cute, cool (was 100 degrees that day) and clean. The fridge came in handy too. The restaurant had very good food, drinks and friendly service too.

United States of AmericaParking was horrible, not enough space for the lodge and the bar, We left a day early - the bed was like a flat board, very dim lighting throughout, no dresser to put clothes in, just a rack for hanging clothes....it's more of a man's room than a womans... but that being said....it was also one of the few rooms t hst haven't been updated yet. Maybe the others were better. The room was clean just no perks or extras.
Didn't eat there... it's pet friendly, clean, but very plain. The staff was amazing and very kind!

United States of AmericaI thought the property was bolstered online through its very clean and hip bar/restaurant. While the motel was a couple stars at best and pretty dated. I did think the menu was too pricey for the value. I paid $18 or something close to that for a charcuterie board with deli ham that was clearly ripped apart by hand and thrown on a plate. Besides that I have no complaints about the room or staff or cleanliness. You can’t help the location of a place like this either.
I loved that there was live music almost nightly. The LGBTQ community was a wonderful surprise in a place where I was expecting quite the opposite. I also loved the grill and pool options although we didn’t get to utilize. It’s perfect for a quick pit stop. No frills.
