We really loved the cottage which is not merely functional but furnished with great attention to detail. Sarah goes out of her way to make her guests feel cozy and welcomed. We especially enjoyed the already preheated whirlpool, perfect for a an evening after a hike in the magnificent Joshua Tree NP!

We chose this location due to its proximity to Joshua Tree National Park! It was only about a 10 minute drive to the closest entrance and it made going there a whole lot easier considering you have to drive a lot already inside the park. The location was really nice and secluded even though there were other homes around as well. The house is also nearby a good amount of restaurants and grocery stores as well so it was super convenient! I also loved that the kitchen had plenty of amenities for cooking meals at home and it felt like you were in your own kitchen :) You can also see a lot of wildlife around the house as well like rabbits and quail! At night, if the moon isn's shining too bright, it is he perfect place to see the stars!! The jacuzzi was a great addition as well! I would for sure recommend this to others looking for a relaxing desert getaway :)

The cottage is cosy, light and clean and close to Joshua Tree. The owner has done a great job to make this place feel like a comfortable home using high quality interior materials and kitchen appliances . We had a great time staying here and did the Black Rock Canyon trail at the park. Three of our family members stayed here before us and also had an excellent time.

The second bed for the children wasn’t made up so we had to figure out the futon and find what bedding we could which I would have preferred not to do (I’m not keen on having to make beds at home)!

Really beautifully decorated property that is both quirky and quaint. Lovely outside space and hammock chairs and hot tub. Feels nice and secluded surrounded by the desert and yet a great location near to shops and easy reach of Joshua Tree west entrance. We had a nice chilled stay and would recommend to friends.

Loved the location and the cleanliness of the property. Wish we were able to stay an extra day and really enjoy the amenities, beautiful views and quiet atmosphere. It was incredibly clean and beautifully decorated. It was a very enjoyable stay. We definitely plan on making another trip out to this location.

We struggled with the heating aparatus ... we could not make it work, and it was pretty cold.

We thought that the house layout was interesting, with several interesting areas (rooms) to chose from to hang out (the front area with the view, the living room adjacent to the kitchen, as well as the family-type room with the TV ... all nicely set up with their own flavour). We enjoyed the nook for the meals, and the view while we were eating was great. The kitchen was superbly provided for, with more than we needed. The house was tastefully decorated. We felt great statying there. The host(s) did a fantastic job with this place... and the online images that we looked at only partially portrait the place as it really is. It looks quaint online, but it is actually super nice and well laid out inside.

We had such an amazing time in Sarah´s house. The house is very well cared, clean and nicely decorated. It has been a great choice and I will be back for sure. The bed was so comfortable and we had a chance to see a beautiful sunrise from the porch of the house. Highly recommended! Thank you Sarah for this great experience.

Very attractively appointed cottage in a beautiful, quiet setting. The layout of the cottage offers several places to spend time, from the outdoor patio with hot tub [for stargazing] and grill, to a good TV/movie watching room, to sitting room, and sun room.

What a cute little convenient place! Everything you need and a comfy bed. Our main regret was we couldn’t stay longer. And we happened to be there when it snowed, and we couldn’t take advantage of the outdoor amenities.

The floors were cold at night and the front porch light timer was only for an hour. But I wore socks and used a flashlight... Big deal.

What's NOT to like about this hidden gem? Location was amazingly close (by car) to everything I needed to get to. The house was fantastic. The hot tub is what was missing from my life that I didn't know was missing. And last but certainly not least, Sarah was on top of everything at all times.
