We were charged $25/per day extra for I didn’t understand what. Some additional fee that wasn’t included in my payment on Booking.

We really enjoyed our stay at this modern and cosy place during our 4 day visit to Chicago. The location is perfect for any sightseeing and using public transportation. The service was friendly. Their check in time is 4pm which is pretty late but we could drop our bags in their locker room in the morning and start our city tour much earlier. I liked the complimentary water (one can for each person), quality shower supplies and every day room service.

While canned water in the room at arrival was great, having that refreshed every day would have been helpful. Our “obstructed view” room with queen beds was directly into the building next door, so the room felt quite dark.

Great location and very funky hotel. Neat little touches like the fortune cookies, robes and slippers. Breakfast at the restaurant was great!

Nothing in principle. Just a suggestion, it would have been nice to have two small bottles of water when arrived and checked in ,since we arrived late at night and was not easy to find close by at that time.

Hotel is situated like a moment away from the Chicago river and the millennium park with many stores, restaurants, cafes across and around the area. Room was spacious, big window for natural light and most important for me a really comfortable bed. Coffee machine was available and a big screen tv.

The bathroom had some things that were broken. The dispenser for shampoo was broken. The shower door had some things broken. It just need a bit more maintenance to really be a WOW hotel.

The elevator took too long and was too crowded to use so we had to use the service elevator multiple times.

ALL OF IT! Amazing, comfy and best location to go everywhere. 10/10!!! Love the safety because they close at 9:00 pm the door so you can only enter with the room key to the hotel.

The wait and confined space in the lobby. There were two full lines, and not enough hands to help check in and check out people in a timely manner. Everyone had to wait a good 10 minutes.

I really liked the location, the vibe, and design. I have stayed at another Arlo in Australia and really enjoyed my time there.

I chose Arlo Chicago as I've had an amazing experience in Arlo NoMad in NYC. One of the things I remember the most was a very warm welcome by the employees, but unfortunately it wasn't the case in Chicago. I was unsure whether a charge had been made to my account as I had been given the option to oay on site by Booking.com and after showing my credit card balance to the check in clerk, he kept insisting that wasn't possible as they didn't have my credit card on file. What do I know, right? Sometimes it's maybe better to say "don't worry, we'll find out" than arguing reality (I was charged, at least 2 weeks in advance). Nakila, on the other hand, was spotless and went out of her way to help, so kudos to her! While I'm not sure how much control Arlo has on what Booking.com does, there is a shared responsibility to make sure platforms honor the promises or conditions under which they're fishing out for customers, as eventually these hotels are selling and profitting from these platforms as well. Air conditioning is hard to regulate and noisy, and so is the mini bar. It kept me awake at night at times!

Room on floor 17 with amazing view to Michigan Avenue. Classy,.elegant, views are to die for and location is simply perfect. Mattress and pillows are simply to die for.
