Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

CanadaThe room was small and for multiple nights would have been nice to have a fridge/microwave in the room.
The location was good. Lots of bars, restaurants near by. First time staying in this area.

United States of AmericaI sometimes heard activity in room above me, which was a bit disturbing.
The wide screen TV, the comfortable king size bed, the hot water in the shower.

United States of AmericaThe loud music on the speakers in the early morning and that the garage wasn’t bigger so we had to find street parking. Check in was a tiny bit confusing at first but we figured it out.
We loved the location and price for what we got. The chalkboard door was really cool!

United States of AmericaSignage was poor. It was not clear where to check in. It was awkward not to have check in close to building room was in. Felt a little sketchy having to walk over, including across a small street to new hotel to check in etc. Also hard to find room in the dark—room numbers (or even ranges) not visible from ground.
Property was clean and comfortable, interesting and unique design. Good amenities.

United States of AmericaWould have appreciated a fridge and microwave in the room. A smart TV would have been nice too.
Loved the fun vibes of the hotel, the mural on the room wall was cool. Beds and pillows were comfortable. Discounts to local businesses were a huge plus. In walking distance of great restaurants and coffee shops.

CanadaThere was no water pressure in the shower and the water was Luke warm. The room needed a bottle opener as well. The sister hotel, Jupiter Next , had a bar but was so busy and crowded, we waited over half an hour and still didn't get drinks. There's not a lot of seating / tables.
Was walking distance to Moda Centre .We were there for a basketball game and felt safe walking to the venue and back at night . Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable. There was lots of free parking close to the hotel which was a bonus. The blue lights all through out the Jupiter Original were funky, although they made it a bit hard to see at night .We loved the chalk board door as well .

CanadaI could have used a little more creature comforts in the room. A hot water pot or coffee maker would have been good. The heat is supplied by an in-wall air conditioning unit so the heat is uneven and the fan a little on the noisy side.
The Jupiter was a lively and engaging property with a very friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are basic and in the old section showing a little wear but still quite serviceable. It was also quiet enough to allow for a comfortable night of sleep. The location is perfect - close to major transit and quite walkable.

Great location, staff is friendly, I like the vibe of the hotel and there is good wifi, nice phone key option and is good to be able to decide if you want room service or not Main building is nice Room was small but cute

United States of AmericaThe only thing we didn’t like was that we could hear another room taking a shower at 7 AM (before we were ready to wake up). The water pressure or something of that nature made it so we heard the entire shower of water and pipes. But the blackout curtains and comfy beds were so good that we all fell back asleep right after.
I loved so many things: First, that the staff included nonbinary persons, the whole vibe of vintage/retro chic was on point, the beds were SO COMFY, the price and location were very nice, the lamps by the bed and chalkboard doors were also great, and overall the four of us had a great stay. So happy that pups were allowed! 🐶 Oh!! And we LOVED the blackout curtains.

United States of AmericaParking was an issue. Paid for garage parking but one night when we arrived back at the hotel there were no spaces available. The hotel did refund for the one night of parking but had to find street parking late at night. Not ideal!! Room was a little noisy. Could hear the upstairs neighbors.
The location of the Jupiter was great. Lots of places to eat and drink close by. Easily walk to the downtown area too.

United States of AmericaThe rooms were very small. In fact in order to get to the bathroom I had to roll over the bed if my husband was sitting at the desk because there wasn’t enough room to pass him.
It was a good location and it was nice they had a bar on the property. There were a lot of thinks around the hotel and it was close to the conference center.

IrelandWhile clean and comfortable, the room was small and without some amenities that I would usually expect. Since the hotel is attached to a music venue, there is the risk of late night noise.
The location is close to all the things I wanted to do. Excellent bars, restaurants and music venues are within walking distance with the majority of the city accessible by public transit.

United States of AmericaThe price was a little on the high side when considering the value. The cost to park was outragous, however, free street parking is available if you can find a spot.
I was unaware of a breakfast offering. The neighborhood has improved remarkably over the past 20 years. It used to be skid row but has evolved into a very nice and safe neighborhood.
