The only thing I overlooked was that these cabins do not have any type of air conditioning and our cabin didn't have ceiling fans either (only 1 fan was provided for our entire cabin). The cabin gets very warm during the day and doesn't cool off until later in the evening. Not having air conditioning was the only issue I had with our stay.

We loved the location of our rental. Vallecito lake was literally 5 minutes away and the Staff was very polite and even allowed us to check in early since our cabin was available. Having use of the grill was a nice perk as well. We really enjoyed our stay here and hope to come back with the rest of our family.

We stayed in a cabin that definitely needed some upkeep. The screen on the front window was broken, the screen door wouldn't close right, and there was a broken solar light as you entered.

The staff was very accommodating and friendly. The grounds were clean, and the gas grill worked great.

The lightening needs improvement The place needed a very good scrubbing. Barely met the staff. The linens smelled bad and so did the towels. The bathroom floor was had water coming up.

Apparently this location was recently taken over by a company based in California - so don’t waste your time trying to contact them - it’s not going to happen. We stayed at the campground July 4-9th 2023 in “Cabin 10” which was apparently the old owner’s quarters. The cabin is attached to the “store” and right next to the laundry building. It is also listed as the cabin to contact should you have any issues (as the literature they pass out upon arrival hasn’t been updated since the owners left). So don’t be surprised when random campers come to your door with their housekeeping issues. Also, I hope that the crashing sound of ice falling from an ice machine is soothing to you - you’re going to hear it all day and night from the “store”.

The kitchen stove was dirty, old burned foil on the burners almost started a fire . Oven was very dirty. Sewer smell was very strong in bathroom

Property has not seen a deep clean in many, many weeks. The property was sweltering!! So, So, So hot! No air conditioning. The bushes in the front yard were overgrown into the sidewalk that leads to the property, very much a hazard. The floors (kitchen and carpets) are in need of a serious deep cleaning. I went in myself and sanitized entire kitchen, bathrooms, dressers, etc. Microban on all the bedding and couches. Sprayed Febreze the first evening continuously for the smell of the lodge being sealed in. Not sure when the last guests were there... We left early that morning way before checkout and ran back because I thought I had left my charger and there were already new guests moving in within 30 or so minutes. We were told checkin wasn't unitl 3pm, hmmm... Thank God we had sanitized and cleaned before we left for the next guests as best we could because I'm not sure that the staff could've gotten in that quick and did a semi decent job in that timeframe that we left and came back to look for missing charger. Fingers crossed that bedsheets were changed for us and for them. Consideration for adding a ceiling fan in the last bedroom and living room would definitely be a plus. The heat was bad this year.

We stayed in the lodge. It was a large property, more than enough for my group. Water was nice and hot. Rooms are quite large spacious. Living space and kitchen nice and large as well. Towels in bathroom were readily available.

The bed was very hard and not very comfortable. It was unusually hot during our visit and the bungalow had no AC so the room was very warm.
