The fried fish is so good that I never have room for desert.

Easily the most relaxing hotel I've ever stayed at. My family and I will absolutely be returning. The food on the buffet was excellent and the staff very friendly. The ladies at the front desk and giftshop were very helpful and excellent at their job. Our waiter was professional and completely awesome as well. I have stayed in many hotels around the world, but the Blue Licks Lodge is easily my favorite. Nowhere will you find a better combination of hospitality, value and relaxation

We got a king sized room and it was very large. They let us keep our pup with us with a fee. All the rooms had their own patios which is cool. Wasn't very many people here so it was very peaceful and quiet. We also got checked in just before the buffet was shutting down. We thought the food was pretty good. This is definitely out in the middle of nowhere but there is a dollar store right before the entrance. They have one of those small coffee pots in the room. All in all I would stay here again. Lot of history here. Also looked like there is a lot of stuff to do when the weather gets warmer. The lodge is older but it's nice.

The beds was lumpy. Ice machine was down on our end of the lodge. The room next door kept there TV up real loud all night .

Since so many people bring their dogs now, they let them walk around and use the bathroom without cleaning up after them. I also didn’t see any wildlife this time. Normally we see deer, rabbits, squirrels and even opossums and raccoons on occasion and once we even saw a bobcat. This time, only 3 or 4 little finch like birds.

As usual, everything with the property was incredible. Everyone was super friendly, it was mostly quiet and the weather was great.

The only thing that we didn't like was in the room next to us-those people were terribly loud and just kept us up yelling and slamming doors until after midnight. We know the resort had nothing to do with their behavior and we are sure they would have taken care of the matter but we didn't ask them to.

It’s not really a negative about the property itself, we just had really noisy neighbors during our stay. The normal room we stay in wasn’t available when making reservations so we stayed in a non-suite king room.

I love the atmosphere and the food and how cozy the rooms are. The beds are ALWAYS comfortable. I have never slept better in a hotel. This was around the 10th time in the past few years that we’ve stayed here and it’s always amazing. I HIGHLY recommend every aspect of the property. This is where we go every spring to get over cabin fever and every October to celebrate our anniversary.

The setting was beautiful. It is in a park with lovely vistas. We will definitely be staying there again. Although breakfast was not included, the price at the restaurant was very reasonable and the meal was delicious - everything prepared to order. The staff and service was excellent and the room was perfect.

The beds were a little more firm than we like but that is personal preference. And the buffet was a little expensive,but fresh .

Loved the location and the opportunity to teach the kids some history while having a good time.

On the first or second night that we were there, the fire alarm was going off for a little over an hour. Lot of people were having to stand outside in the cold and rain.

It's always beautiful and the Staff is always friendly. We got to actually hike more of the trails this time and went fishing both nights with crazy success, Blue licks will always be like a second home to us. l can't wait to return in the very near future!

COVID had the restaurant limited but the carry out was excellent. Would have enjoyed the ambiance and the view had the dining room been open.

It would have really been nice to have some type of small refrigerator unit in the room. I was there during a really high humidity heat index day and some cold beverages would have been ideal.

I love the location and the quietness. It's extremely clean and the room was a large size made a very enjoyable stay.
