Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

No elevator
The swimming pool was inviting and clean, the fitness & laundry rooms were a nice touch and the whole facility was nice and clean.

Breakfast was all sugary. Could not eat it.
Receptionist named Jackie was especially efficient and professional . When a minor problem arose she got it taken care of quickly and with a smile.

The room had a plug in the room trying to cover a smell. It smelled old or maybe the carpet needed to be replaced. I reserved 2 rooms and both were on opposite ends and both rooms had an odor.
It was close to our event.

Well it wasn’t the properties fault just kids being loud all night so not much sleep.

Quality of facility.
More of a motel quality room. There’s lots of cover up to make it look better, but those parts were fairly clean. Things were stuck on the walls that have probably been there for years. Staff was friendly, great location. Probably wouldn’t choose again unless the price was super low.

The room was really dirty. Not just the room we checked into initially, but the room they had to move us to had Fruit Loops and fruit snacks and straw wrappers and bits of trash under the couch and TV stand. Also, had to clean the tub before showering.
The second shift manager, whose name I did not get unfortunately, was outstanding and a problem solver. When we got ready to let out the sofa bed, it was broken and she came to the room and tried to fix it and when I couldn't match her effort, she moved us to another room. No questions asked.

i had no hot water in shower and only like warm water in sink and front desk didn't answer my call had to go to desk and tell them i went to work and took shower and got ready for work there

The sleeper sofa for my daughter was broke. There was a sign inside the mattress stating not to open up the bed. She had to sleep on top of the sofa was not comfortable at all. I notified the front desk at checkout. Also, there was a group of men partying in a pick up truck right next to my car. I didn't appreciate that.

First of all when I made the reservation, I specifically asked for a ground floor room with 2 queen beds , because there was no elevator and my wife was ill. This was confirmed but when I checked in I was told that there were no rooms available on the ground floor, so we had to settle for a room on the upper floor and climb the stairs. It was the dirtiest hotel I’ve ever been in. The carpets were visibly dirty and it looked like it was never vacuumed or shampooed. The hallway floors were dirty with mud, trash, and dirt. We couldn’t believe our eyes! Then as we opens the door to our room we were blown away with the amount of dirt, crumbs and trash on the floor! I had to go to see the manager to ask for another room to which I was told that there was none left! She said she would send a worker up to clean the room! She sent an older woman with a swifter mop with a towel wrapped around the end and a spray bottle. I had to direct this worker on how to clean a floor. She had no idea how to clean! We had to clean everything in the room. Towel hooks were barely hanging on one screw. Not a pleasant stay! Would never recommend this hotel, in fact I would recommend against it. Someone should visit and inspect this hotel. Booking.com should not be associated with this hotel!

The room was bare.....should have a rug of some kind. Huge gap under the door. Too much light under the door and noisy.

The room was pretty empty. Walls were dirty with holes a scraped.the toilet had been moved and the black nasty stuff was still on the floor. The lack of water pressure made the shower a single stream that was like a slow drip.

The room was dirty. Hair in the covers and shower, toilet is loose and runs all night. Floor had hair balls on it, fridge didn’t work , no elevator. The door to the back side stays open and the stairs have no light what so ever it’s just about dark . Not safe at all.
