Sadly we stayed only one night, it would have been good to try out the patio and BBQ.

Location was wonderful part of town, right in view of the river. There is a road between accommodation and river but it is quiet street, safe and no traffic noise. Kern was much nicer town than we had expected. Everything was as described, one of the offered pillows was very hard but the other was fine.

We asked for early check-in when booking online but there was no response to that question. It would also help to have a better description of where to park.

Despite being an older building, the interior and exterior grounds are kept in immaculate condition. We enjoyed that our room still has the features of its older self without the ewe factor. The bed was very comfortable.

It was a very nice and clean cabin with electric fire place, front porch and lake right in the front. Wish we could have stayed longer than a night. It was very affordable as well. I also liked that I got an email with all the instructions as to which cabin was mine and how to get it since we arrived after hours.

The accommodations were dated, but we new that going in. The walls are thin between the units.

The location and setting is amazing. Close to everything in town, restaurants, stores, the town square. It was comfortable. The beds were great.

I loved the cabin itself. My family and I had connecting rooms so we had the whole cabin to ourselves. The cabin had a fire place and the rooms were all nice and spacious. Thank you Jenny for your hospitality.

It was difficult to find as there was no real checking. Had to call to get entrance code to room. Never saw owners.

The walls were alittle thin and although we had only one neighbor, we could hear their conversation in the early morning. Which makes me think they heard ours the previous night.

The location couldn’t be beat! Right infront of the river/park and shops and dining literally on the next street. Nicely furnished with a couch and amenities. The place was very clean and well dusted. The outdoor seating area was incredibly delightful and beautifully decorated. I spoke on the phone with someone and she was very friendly and helpful. Easy directions to get into the premises and easy checkout.

I expected 2 double bedrooms, and I found a chalet style apartment, with full kitchen and dining room, living room, 2 double bedrooms and 1 bathroom. Clean and quiet. It was great.

The location is ideal! It is located near the Kern River, shops and restaurants! We stayed in the 2 bedroom suite and it was cozy and inviting! Also, The staff was very nice and helpful! I definitely recommend The Kern Riverview Inn!

If I had one criticism, it's that the only lighting was 2 bedside lamps. No central main light but certainly nothing to downgrade them on.

Friendly welcome, doggie came to say hi too and gave us a lick 😄 Very cozy, comfy suite with separate bathroom all nicely decorated. Free toiletries and complimentary coffee. Good sized fridge, microwave and free WiFi. Parking on street right outside. Friendly town with riverside park and a few restaurants/ coffee shops for dining. Garden out the front with decked area and plenty of seating with BBQ.

We really enjoyed our stay. The Inn is perfectly located across the street from a park and the Kern River which you can (almost) see from the front porch. It’s easy walking distance to numerous cafes and restaurants. The room (#5) is good sized, with just about everything you need. It’s not super modern and the internet TV was a little glitchy, but it was very comfortable and exactly what we wanted after a day of rafting.
