Parking was a struggle at first. However, after discussing it with the hotel staff I found better parking.

The staff were absolutely fantastic. The bar was great with a great selection of local drinks. Property was clean and room was cozy.

Rooms rather small, but that‘s not a problem for a few days :)

The dorms are well equipped, but the room was rather small. Still, very comfortable beds and extremely nice and comfy duvets! The staff is wonderful, very helpful and super friendly! There is a sauna one can use for 1 hour at a time. There’s free coffee and tea in the morning.

Our room was really small. Just big enough to fit our one small carry on luggage and the rest was our bed.

It seemed like a relaxed vibe the entire time. There is a bar/restaurant in the main lobby that a lot of non hotel goers meet at. Front desk is helpful, and the shared bathrooms are cleaned well and in good locations. There were three on our floor and fully locked with a standing shower, toilet, sink, and bathroom amenities (shampoo, conditioner, body wash).

The room is so small that there's no space to open the luggage, let alone a chair to sit down.

The location is good for our purpose. The atmosphere of the hotel is really nice.

I live just 25 minutes across the river in Washington State, but now and then I come to Portland and stay the night with my wife for special occasions. Of the hotels we've stayed at this has been my favorite. The price was reasonable, the room was spacious and comfortable, and it was perfectly situated next to some great restaurants and bars. We had a wonderful stay and the staff even gave my wife a bottle of prosecco for her birthday with a note. This was not expected and very much appreciated. I would happily stay again.

Loved the styling of the rooms and hotel bar. Room was bigger than I expected, and being able to open the window for fresh air was, tbh, a total novelty for a hotel. Would definitely consider staying here again. It was a good location for taking walks around town also.

Unable to relax sitting down at a table, at street level ,on the first floor in the entrance of the hotel / restaurant , after hours. If I remember correctly, My bathroom, did not have a mirror.

The one thing I didn't like was the duvet and bed covers - they weren't encased, just had single sheets lying on them but they didn't stay put during the night.

The hotel is on a main thoroughfare, so on some nights the traffic was loud until late into the evening.

Loved the vibe of this hostel/hotel and the Pacific Standard bar on the main floor. Location was great. Our deluxe family room was attractive, comfortable, roomy, and functional; it had all the amenities we needed. Staff were available 24/7.

Great hotel, great location, excellent sized room. Everyone was very nice and accommodating. The bathroom was clean- all the important stuff was clean. General surfaces in the room were dusty and clearly aren't often cleaned. But we would absolutely stay again!

Breakfast option would have been great. Also a laundry option would have been nice. where my room was situated I was woken up multiple times by the buss that arrives right outside the hotel. Maybe a good idea to double glaze and soundproof that side of the hotel.

Decent Location, and the room size and comfort was one of the best I have been in.

East side is better than downtown but not terribly pleasant for walking around. But grab one of the buses to go a little further east and neighborhood is great!

Fantastic staff that really went above and beyond. There was a little mix up when I arrived and they were so generous and accommodating! Was very unexpected and sweet. Room was cozy, very comfy, shared bathrooms always very clean and never had a problem finding an available one. The downstairs restaurant is great for a drink in the evening, nice ambience, and perfect place to work in the morning over coffee. Loved my stay here and will definitely be back!
