I booked my room and was asked if I wanted a better room for about $20 more. I picked that option. It was listed as a premier garden view. We had the last room and we had a view of a parking lot and a dumpster. The ac was on 63 and we were still too hot The pool was cloudy.

It had a nice water view.

We had some problems with the housekeeping and water pressure.. When we first arrived, I wanted to take a shower. Turned the water on, and it seemed the water pressure was connected to the water temperature. If you wanted higher pressure, you needed to put the temp on hot. As for the housekeeping, I appreciate the shampoo. Conditioner and body wash, but when I was already in the shower, the body wash was completely out. My husband had to go get some but wasn't readily available, so someone came by and left us restaurant bottles of shampoo and body wash. We are not the type of people who do housekeeping throughout our stay, but we didn't have a choice as there wasn't a do not disturb sign available. When we came back another day, we noticed housekeeping was done, but unacceptable of the job they didn't do. They took our dirty towels and left us 1 towel for the entire room. Gave us 2 floor towels and no washcloths. Didn't clean off the sink and shower as hair and residue from the day before was still there. My hair was still on the floor so that means the floor wasn't swept and I'm pretty sure they didn't change the sheets as one side of the bed was still made the same way I left it. Also, the bottles I mentioned above were still left in our shower instead of actually refilling the bottles on the wall. When I went to go get the towels and washcloths, I was told that housekeeping was running really behind, but that wasn't an excuse. The guy wasn't aware of everything else that didn't get done. I would've just probably opted to skip housekeeping altogether if I knew how bad of a job it was.

The place was a great hideaway with good amenities. The private beach and pool are so relaxing with gorgeous views. The free Starbucks in the office is a great thing to have for that pick me up. The man at the front desk was great and helpful with our issues to the best of his ability. Wifi was adequate and not choppy, and the shopping was walking distance away.

Nothing, good value for money. Doesn’t have restaurant on site but has direct access to next door restaurant and tiki bar which is great.

Perfect location right on bay. Can take kayaks and paddle boards straight out from the pool area. Staff very helpful with organising diving or excursions.

There was only hot water in the shower of room 303. The temperature couldn't be adjusted to a lower level than just about scalding.

The room was really quite dirty, we had black feet after walking around the room, there were clumps of hair on the floor and the bedside rugs were dirty. There was debris from other guests in the bathroom. We asked housekeeping to mop the floor but this was not done.

Fast WiFi, Starbucks machine in lobby. Nice sea-front seating area. Close walking distance to several good restaurants.

The mattress was too hard. My back was sore in the morning. Also, the hotel is too close to the main road, the actual territory is narrow, the pool is on the smaller side. But it is what it is. We like it there for the short stay and the good weather. We are grateful, anyway

Tidy, updated, strong Wifi, good friendly staff, efficient check in services, next door to the seaside restaurant with live music and the great seafood, bars. It makes your driving time worth it.

The room we stayed in didn’t have some amenities we would have wanted like many hooks. And it had lots of wear and tear - potentially because they put us in an accessible room? Maybe that accounted for the absence of hooks and a closet.

The outside of the property was STUNNING! Excellent place to read a book, rent equipment and watch the sunset. It’s right next to a restaurant as well so you can eat there or just walk next door for a drink. You get a discount too from showing your room key!

The front door of room locked but didn't look secure. A crowbar could have conpromised our belongings as there was a gap in the door when closed. The one thing holding me back from rating the stay a 10

Location was perfect with lots of local amenities around - better than other resorts in Key Largo. Reception staff were very helpful and friendly. Nice room interior. Lovely pool and seating by the ocean. Discount at Snooks restaurant next door. Would stay again

The housekeeping, it was very clear the room was not being cleaned (sanitized). When we got there the sink was filthy the floors were dirty. Staff would come in every day and empty the trash and take the towels. They would not replace the towels and when I asked I was told they didn't have any. There were two of us in the room and not enough towels and washcloths

The location was awesome, with kayaks, and a pool. Next to a great restaurant

I wish the rooms were cleaned daily. They just dropped off new towels daily.

When we arrived we discovered that they did not have our reservations through Booking.Com. We had to scramble to find other accommodations for a night. Bayside was able to honor our rate for the final 4 nights of our stay.
