Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

United States of Americathe unit needs some updates. From little things such as the broken/tiny ironing board and breaking down trim areas and leaky fridge interior, to to the bathroom shower looking quite dirty just from being old, some freshening up of the place would do it wonders!
The super close proximity to the beach was absolutely wonderful - made the whole trip. The unit was a good "cheap" option, too, as the unit needs some TLC.

United States of AmericaThe shower needs some work. It's clean, so that's not a concern, but the shower head needs replaced and the window was kind of damaged. The other issue is the AC system. It works, but the unit in the living room seems too small to handle the job and was throwing water out of the back side. So, if you're sitting on the balcony, you get splashed from time to time.
The unit was clean and well stocked. It was easy to find with free on site parking. Everything about the stay was easy and we enjoyed our visit.

United States of AmericaNo restaurant on site, but plenty of options nearby. No washer or dryer available to use for tenant. It was on second floor without elevator, so not ADA friendly or for people with mobility issues.
Excellent location - right on the beach and very central to Maui. The neighbors were friendly. Plenty of parking. For the price, much more room than a hotel. A lot cleaner than our previous Maui lodging. No bugs around.

United States of AmericaThe office availability was low because we were short of shampoo and body soap. The patio furniture was so old and dirty to sit on. Some furnitures were rusty.
It was convenient to get to the beach , But we were embarassed at the 1st day of arrivals because the office was closed . But after that we could see the staffs and were able to get needed information. I especiallly like the dimmer switch on lights and ceiling fans. We were able to control the light intensity to save energy.

United States of AmericaThe location is not ideal, its far from everything restaurants/grocery stores, and 30 mins drive from Lahaina which is the more lively part of Maui. All in all not bad if you have a car. Also, plan your vacation based on their check-in check-out times because, unfortunately, they have 0 flexibility with times, they didn't even allow us 1 hour earlier check in or late check out.
This was an apartment with fully equipped kitchen and a nice balcony in a condo. It has shared BBQs, beach beds, and a very small pool but the building is basically on the beach. We also had beach chairs, towels and a yummy welcome bag.

United States of AmericaCleanliness of condo left a lot to be desired. We found hair on towels when we arrived. Dust lining doors. Kitchen countertops were dirty when we arrived. We used our own cleaning wipes and they were brown after we wiped counters down. I didn't expect this condo to be at Hyatt hotel level, but we expected a certain level of cleanliness that wasn't there.
Location to the beach couldn't have been better. The outdoor seating/bbq area was great. Condo was close to ABC store and a local bakery, less than 10 minute walk down the beach to get there. Very quiet and we loved the kitties and chickens that roamed the property. Beautiful garden setting around the property.

United States of AmericaOverall a great place! The beds were comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped with all the essentials and everything worked. The grounds were quaint and very well kept. I would definitely recommend a stay at Kihei Kai property.
The unit is in need of a refresh and deep clean. The carpet is gross. I tried vacuuming, the vacuum was so jampacked with dirt after I emptied it, it barely sucked. We also cleaned the air conditioning filters, which hadn't been attended to. There is a black spot on the ceiling in the bedroom that is suspect (water intrusion/mold?).

United States of AmericaThe dishes in the cupboards were dirty. Prior guest didn't even wash them after they used them, and there was a dishwasher available. Pretty gross.
Could not get closer to the beach unless you are on a boat. Opened our bedroom window at night and fell asleep to the sound of the waves crashing on the sandy beach. Heavenly.

United States of AmericaCould not open close. Dresser drawer was broken. Suit case and close was on floor. It made moving around small bedroom difficult. Air conditioner needed filter changed. Banisters on stairs was filthy. We're in are 70s and need to hold on to banister. Got are hands very dirty going up and down getting ate thins in. I had to scrub it the next day.
Air conditioners were great, but one said filter needed to be changed. Kitchen was great. Great location. Loved the beach there.

United States of AmericaSaw a cockroach on the first night, dead cockroach on the plate we pulled out on our first night, behind the bed, night stand and couch was dusty/dirty. Baseboards were dirty, bathroom and kitchen walls could use a wipe down. We read to not leave food/crumbs and throw the garbage each day. We happened to leave a napkin on the counter which we used to wipe down the dishes. It had small bugs with 2 antennas when we saw it the next day. Also stayed on the couch and had 10 bites on my legs when I woke up
Location was great for us. The beach was nice to walk in the morning. It was nice they had a farm stand we could get fruits.

United States of AmericaThere was someone smoking at all times under our room so we couldn't enjoy our balcony or room it smelled horrible, bed sheets were torn and stained not too comfortable, carpet was stained room smelled old with a high hit of tobacco. Room needs to be updated fridge didn't have a handle, restroom windows broken with no handle to open them.

PhilippinesSome of the areas were dusty, like the balcony and the staircase. Also, we didn't use them, but I saw that the beach chairs and the lone body board were looking a little worn out.
The location was excellent! The entire apartment, first of all, was very comfortable and well-equipped with everything a family needs: cooking utensils, dishes, beach towels, and cleaning supplies. A small farmer's market, an ABC store, a shave ice place, and an extremely popular bakery were only a beautiful 5-minute walk away. Four to five miles away, there are a lot of food trucks, stores, and restaurants. There are several water activities you can do and the beach was clean.

United States of Americait took me a few times to be able to lock my door. unlocking worked fine. locking I found trick was to hold the door knob shut then put code in.
the view, access to beach, close to store, there was coolers and chairs to use, cable movies were nice.
