Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Large room with comfortable bed. Grounds looked very nice and would have loved to explore more and visit the small waterfall but we were only there overnight. Room was older but met our expectations and needs. Had a nice private balcony with sliding glass door leading out to it.

The man at the desk was nice. It was older on the inside of the room and bathroom but it was clean. They are also remolding so should improve soon.

It was a chore to get warm water in the shower.
Location is minutes from Clayton, Georgia. Nice rural area.

Since it was off-season Christmas, there was no restaurant, no breakfast etc … no maid service… actually one really great guy who was in charge our whole 2-night stay - Mike - he was great!! Makes great coffee!!

It was good,but unfortunately BOOKING.COM updates hotel websites with months of delay,therefore I was not aware that the restaurant together with winery were closed for season...so we were there almost alone, no restaurant, no wine...I expected a nice gastro night but thanks to booking, we just had a pleasant night.

Location is great, quiet area but close by driving to downtown Clayton. It was Thanksgiving weekend so, dining at the facility was closed.

The beds and pillows were not very comfortable. Bring your own pillow.
Everything! The location, amenities, pool, hot tub, steam room, sauna, staff... Everything & everyone was amazing! We will be back.

The rooms were a little dated ( The bathrooms specifically) but they were comfortable. They were not able to offer Breakfast Monday through Friday but the Breakfast we had on Saturday was very good!
The view from the hotel was wonderful! The grounds were beautiful! I loved the chateau feel! The staff were friendly! There is a waterfall on the property that is a hidden gem!

Not that I didn't like the facilities. Just kinda dated but everything was very clean and maintained.
Really nice spa with hot tub, steam room, and sauna. Julie the owner of the spa was very friendly and accommodating. Stacy in the bar was very friendly and let us taste/try different wines. We bought a bottle. Ask for Mike Nasser, he is the GM and will ensure you have a pleasant stay and experience. The golf course is beautiful.

The advertised restaurant with a view and a wine tasting were not operating, hopefully some time in the future!
We had a very friendly welcome, the area is nice with a trail just behind the reception house.

The property is dated and could use a refresh but everything was clean and in good working order.
The location is beautiful and the view from our room was lovely; the outdoor pool was great with a large deep end and towels were provided at the pool. Breakfast was included and had a variety of foods and fresh fruit; the dark roast coffee was delicious. We enjoyed a hike in the property to see a waterfall. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Easy drive into Clayton.

I wouldn’t say didn’t like, but the rooms are older. We expected as much. We like to visit non traditional, and no chain hotels. Kingwood is a great place to visit. Don’t expect the Ritz, but expect a staff and rooms that are friendly and clean.
The room and staff were great. Staff offered to let us take a golf cart on the course to see the holes to entice us back with our clubs next time. They were great!

Rooms and properties really need a renovation. The golf course was beautiful but other property needs some care.

The room itself was clean but dated.
The staff and location were great and accommodating. Beautiful scenery and the staff were very nice and treated my family very respectfully. They also had two very nice pools (one indoor and one outdoor).
