The floors weren't clean, and the beds were uncomfortable. At 5 a.m., a gentleman walked up to the office and came out with coffee. I go maybe 10 minutes later, and the doors are locked, and no one is answering the bell. I waited I know a good 5 minutes, then came back about 10 minutes later, and still no one would come to the front. Yes, breakfast was not served till 7am, but if one can get coffee before time, went can't everyone. Breakfast by the way, was continental. No waffles, just little pastries.

The young lady at the front desk was absolutely great! She took care of anything we needed. Very customer service friendly. She had a great attitude. It was in a great area, right across the street from the Seawall and walking distant to places to eat/drink.

The sheets were stained, shower not cleaned well with someone else's body wash still on the tile. Overall the place just felt dirty. Not sandy and humid from the beach, but dirty. I've definitely been in worse, but given that I paid such high rates for such a basic hotel, I would hope that the place was at least clean. The beds were so uncomfortable I could not sleep. Kept losing Wi-Fi and cable TV. "Breakfast" is packaged muffins and coffee. Despite the above, I would probably stay here again if the price were right and I could not find something better.

Though we paid a fortune for this place, it was lower cost than most places on Seawall Boulevard. Location is awesome. It felt safe.

Great location, no fuss services. This is the last of the classic roadside motels left. Felt safe in our location nice beach access across the street. Great location to Peir & lots of shops & food within walking distance. We walked alot!

Wifi wouldn't work unless you were in the office. Rooms need some updating, especially the bathroom area.

Good price for the room which was smaller but clean. Staff were helpful and kind. Nice view of the beach across the street. Bed was comfortable.

The pictures shown online were a little misleading - the actual room didn't appear to match any of those pictures. Our room was literally right next to the road, so it was very noisy with lots of car and foot traffic (which went right past our room window). We were okay with that but other people may not like all that noise. It's an older motel that does need some updating but it was clean - it was great for an overnight stay. We stayed for several days and it worked for the two of us but if you are looking for more room to spread out, this motel probably isn't your best option.

Staff was awesome - very nice and helpful. Room was clean, beds were comfortable, and the views of the beach from the window were great. Nice to have the mini-fridge in the room. Location was good - we could walk to the Galveston Pleasure Pier as well as several restaurants and bars without having drive anywhere and pay for parking. Breakfast was pre-packaged muffins/doughnuts/Danish but there were several options to choose from as well as hot coffee and orange juice bottles, so that worked for us.

The electronic locks were corroded and hard to work, to get into the room. The room was not cleaned thoroughly, the microwave was not wiped down on the inside or outside. The bed sheets still had hair on them...making cleanliness a questionable issue.

I thought I would be able to leave my car parked there while I was on a cruise. I had called about that as well before coming. When I arrived, I found I could not cleave the car there

Not a good choice of breakfast, no fruit, no eggs just sweets.

I liked my room, just feels sandy inside being that close to the beach. Need a way to keep the sand down.

musty smell in the room was causing issues with breathing. The uneven roadway and 'sidewalks' on the property made it difficult to walk with a cane.

No hot water for a day, not their fault. Most convenuence stores, for lunch closed Mon, Tues, no food available on site. But staff again, very helpful
