To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United States of AmericaNot handicap accessible. Bathroom was way to small, couldn't close the door if you were sitting on the stool. I couldn't take a shower the whole week we were there, because there was no shower chair. Supposed to be handicap room. The pool, was open, but could not be accessed by a wheelchair whatsoever. Hotel housed a bunch of houseless people.
Location was great. They had a pool that was open. They had coffee in the lobby in the morning.

United States of AmericaThe bathroom wasn't very clean. With no carpet on the sparsely furnished bedroom floor, all the dirt stuck to my bare feet. There was no shampoo in the bathroom, we had to request it at the front desk. The bed was rather uncomfortable - there was a giant "valley" in the middle that my husband and I kept rolling toward.
Check-in was quick, staff were attentive. I was impressed with the pool, although we did not have a chance to use it. Location is easy to find, right next to freeway exit/entrance. It shares a building with a longer-term stay hotel (opposite end of the building).

United States of AmericaThe bed is so uncomfortable, I saw a cockroach in the bathroom, I only saw one but disgusting. The toilet was super weird, you had to hold the handle down the whole time to flush and the seat was broken.
The staff was nice, and there was a good sized fridge and the room was a nice size

United States of AmericaThe room had a urine odor to it, and not dog urine. The bathroom (toilet/ shower) was very small and the shower curtain smelled sour. The entry to the bathroom was broken. The building is not secure. The outer entrance closest to our room was not locked, anyone could come in off the street. It felt more like a place where anyone, who can not find another place to live, stay for extended periods. There was a lot of dog feces in the back of the hotel where the “dog run” is supposed to be. Bags and disposals were available at the front entrances but irresponsible owners don’t seem to use them.
Our room had laminate flooring, not carpet. It was in a good location with restaurants & stores located within a mile. No pet fees.

United States of Americawe had a handicap room I would expect a walk in shower or a least a low step tub there wasn’t even a shower chair. There was microwave but no coffee maker. When I ask for a first floor room so we didn’t have to deal with stairs or an elevator I didn’t realize the first floor was the lower level. The furniture in the old old and falling apart. the blanket on king size bed barely cover the bed.

United States of Americathe room had problems. the bathroom had mold on the shower walls, the shower toggle was missing, the bathroom door was damaged in atleast 2 places. the tub backed up and held water for a long time (without the drain toggle being active), and the internet was spotty at best, and the safety lock on the main door was broken. also, the rooms and hallways smelled of cannabis. on check out i asked if there was a price reduction available because of the condition of the room, and they said no. there was no apology of any kind and they didn't offer to move me to a different room. i paid 200$ for 2 nights: friday, saturday nights, 1 adult.
i just spent the weekend there. i asked for a room removed from other guests, which they did i think.

United States of AmericaThe property smelled like weed and bleach and there were tons of loiterers every time I went in and out. The little kids that ran around in the room above me from like 5pm to 2am were not my favorite, but that's not the property's fault, they're just sucky people.

United States of AmericaMore in-depth cleaning would have been nice: There was a paper towel stuck where the wall meets the ceiling like someone smooshed a spider and left it there. There were also hairs in both beds that weren't ours. The ceiling exhaust appears to not be working correctly, which is causing a bit of a mold issue in the bathroom. The room also smelled like it had been smoked in before.
The bed was super comfortable and the staff was very friendly.
