The water pressure was less than I'm used to having, but I was able to shower just fine and the water warmed up quickly. I figure it's worth a mention as I know some people would be upset by this. The heating/cooling until in the room made a medium rattle when operating, which did wake me up during the night. However, the night was cooler than expected, so it was running frequently and kept my room very toasty.

The hotel location was convenient to places we were seeing, so that worked out very well for us. It's 15 minutes or so from downtown Staunton. It's close to the highway, but far enough that traffic noise wasn't noticeable. The room and bathroom appeared recently renovated and were nice and clean. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The full continental breakfast with waffles is always a hit and was well stocked and fresh. This location went away from the shampoo/condition samples and simply had a dispenser on the shower wall, which I liked.

Changing the TV channels was very difficult. There was a guide, but you couldn't click on the show you wanted to watch, and you couldn't enter the number of the channel. It's very frustrating.

Was able to get a ground floor room, which was excellent. The room was very nice and comfortable.

Asked to pay cash and told we could in the morning. Gave a credit card for damage deposit. In the morning found that the room had been charged to the credit card and could not be reversed. Not a big issue but avoidable.

The hotel is close to the highway and offers one of the cleaneast facility and rooms to boot. The staff is friendly with fast and courteous check in The breakfast is nice from small omelettes to make your Belgium waffles. A solid night stay when traveling

I was a little nervous pulling up. The front of the hotel lobby didn't look open. The refrigerator smelled awful.

The room, for the price, was clean and comfortable. The staff had the room very warm and cozy when I arrived, and the clerk at check-in was very friendly. The room smelled fresh and clean.

Not much fun climbing the iron stairs to the second floor, but not really a problem.

Clean, comfortable room with excellent sheets and towels, good lighting and a nice shower.
