Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Size of pool and noisy street
The staff member Dave was extraordinarily helpful with a number of logistical problems we encountered with our rental car and with our reservations. I don’t recall ever encountering such a kind staff person at a hotel . If I could rate the staff on a scale of ten I’d give them 11!

Although it was a bit pricey for the room, Sedona is expensive overall.
The location was very good. It was near shopping and hiking. The staff was very helpful and the breakfast was good with a nice selection.

Me and my bf traveled to sedona for a getaway trip to relax and find a place that will give us that. During our stay we had a big family with lots of kids stay right above us. All we heard was the kids stomping and kids bring loud outside our door. Very bad experience with placing a family that big next to a king deluxe suite.

If you have lactose/dairy issues the scrambled eggs have milk in them. I have run into this at many hotels. I imagine the waffles also have dairy. I was unable to eat either since I also have a gluten problem. This is not important to most people. There is instant oatmeal which is not great. I went out and bought my own hard boiled eggs and travel with gluten free bread so I was all set after the first morning.
Room comfortable and clean. Not brand new but updated. Staff super responsive to all questions and concerns. Outdoor area really beautiful. Very quiet area despite being on main road.

wished there was a hot tub. It is somewhat dated so thought the price was a little high. But we did like it there, no complaints really
The location of this hotel is great, very clean and quiet. Close to the hiking trails we wanted to go to.

The orange juice tasted off, in working in the food industry I felt like it was a cleaning issue I have run into that could be on the inside. I wish there were a towel for the floor getting out of the shower, we had to use a regular one which made it so we were sharing 3 towels over the 3 days we were there. The shower curtain was also not good at keeping the water in which made it wetter getting out. The back patio area was a little unsightly when looking at the fence and landscaping so we didn't use it.
The staff was nice, during breakfast on one of the days it sounded like a manager was talking about another guest while we were eating to other staff because the reservations were messed up. I am sure it was some sort of training, I would just be uncomfortable if it was me they were talking about.

Sedona has a traffic problem which could be resolved by hiring more busses. The bus only picks up every hour and the stops are far apart.
The front desk was super helpful with hike/shuttle information...provided directions and maps

Although the breakfast was not satisfactory, there is a great bakery right across the street that offers a wide variety of pastries, coffee, and sandwiches. Very noisy AC unit had to switch it off to sleep well.
I'm hesitant to give the hotel a 3-star rating, but I must say that the place is quite clean and the staff members are polite and friendly. The room is spacious enough to accommodate 2 adults and 2 kids, as long as you only need it for sleeping. The parking area is large enough to find a space even as late as 11 PM. The open fire pit is a great addition to the hotel, and they sell smores kits at the front desk, which makes for a fun evening activity with the kids. Pets-friendly is also a plus.

we had a hard time finding you....people in town didn't know where you were and then when we got good directions, your lighting was poor, could hardly see t he sign for the motel or the entrance. Other than that, the room was lovely, the lady who served us was very pleasant and helpful....breakfast was good.....all in all

I didnt like the wall mounted hand soap dispenser it was awkward to use. It was weird having the sink right by the door and the lighting left something to be desired but overall the room was fine.
I was in town for the run Sedona half marathon and this hotel was walking distance to the race start. There was also a race shuttle stop near by but I didn't use it. Hotel Parking was easy. I was able to get a spot near my door. I didn't hear any noise from other rooms. The room got fairly dark with the blackout curtains closed. The hotel was close to restaurants and stores.

Would have preferred daily room service or at least once during my 5 night stay. Trash built up and didn’t have anywhere to put it. I also like my bed made 🙏🏻
We’ll accommodate, nice beds, great breakfast bar. They had the pool open and would like the fire anytime. They also offered snacks and drinks 24 hours in the office.
