Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaThere was still renovation going on. The elevator did not work. The carpet in our room had dirt that could be seen. The tub thing on the bottom was dingy and scratched up and looked dirty.
The location was great. it was easy access to everything. The guy at the front was very nice.

United States of AmericaI hated to be gauged during graduation weekend at UVA. I paid a ridiculous room rate. A call came in when I arrived and they were offered $200 a night, way less than what I paid. I'd like to be refunded a portion of my room rate. Although rooms and breakfast area were spotless, the elevators were filthy.
Breakfast, cleaning and front desk staff were extremely nice.

United States of AmericaThe location of the hotel was a bit difficult to reach because of traffic and the proximity to a busy highway on ramp. The elevator sounded like it was going to quit working at any minute.
Staff was very friendly and we got to have conversations with a few of the employees. The room was nice and clean, and the bed was quite comfortable. We had no issues with checking in or out.

United States of AmericaThe bed could have been softer and the pillows were too thick to sleep comfortably for my personal taste. The elevators were a bit old and slow - it would be nice if they could be replaced.
Parking was easy to come by and overall the hotel room was pretty clean. Nice little gym, could not hear if people were next door to me, it was pretty spacious and bathrooms were good.

United States of AmericaThe hotel appears to have been recently converted from an old La Quinta, with some things updated/replaced and some things remaining old and dingy and/or damaged. The walls are stained, lots of rust and grime in the bathroom, but the beds and desk were new and comfortable.
Beds were comfortable, linens and towels were nice, when we had an issue it was addressed quickly

United States of AmericaRoom had no drawers. Only one shelf for clothes. Breakfast was minimal. No juice, Frozen Jimmy Dean sandwiches. Yuck! Would have brought breakfast with us if we knew this.
Very comfortable beds. Very clean room. Staff was very pleasant and responsive when our heater was malfunctioning. Went out of their way to find us another suitable room.

United States of AmericaThe location is tucked back behind trees, with no signs out front which made it very difficult to see. Your night manager was out front smoking, didn’t acknowledge us when we approached her, and we stood inside for a good 3-4 minutes before she recognized that we were there. I asked her if we had two beds, and she said no one came. I asked her if we could change she said there was nothing else available. However, when we got to the room, we did indeed have two large beds, so it worked out in our favor in the end. Your breakfast selection left a bit to be desired, but the price was a good value for the accommodations
The bed was very comfortable, and we almost stole your pillows as they were the best part of our stay!!! 😀

BelgiumThe first night after being out for dinner I discover the bed sheets were dirty as the bed has been used by someone before us, not going into details but was clearly spots of … they proposed us to change room but as we settled in already I asked to change the bed sheets and the gave me and I have to change by myself. I left on the floor then used ones and the following evening they were still there (rooms service is done only from the third day…). The breakfast and area dedicates were poor and not very
The hotel is calm and silent although close to a large road. It is very practical for travelers who don’t want to enter in the downtown. The rooms are large and include all standard facilities.
