Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

We found a bed bug in our first room. They moved us immediately, made and informed us of plans to exterminate the room and adjoining rooms. Both rooms had large gaps around the entry door meaning all the noise of hall came into the rooms which made it hard to sleep.
We had a late check-in followed by an issue in the night. We were quickly able to get it resolved.

Breakfast was disappointing. At 7:15 on a Friday morning there was no coffee. I let staff know and I was given A rather curt reply that they were working on it. 20 minutes later still no coffee. There was no butter either. Rooms were large but sadly needed a good refresh. A bit shabby
Evening desk person was very friendly and helpful when we checked in.

The phone line wasn't working properly. Reception couldn't hear us. The fan in bathroom did not wokrk.
Breakfast good. Appeared to be a lot of channels for tv. We weren't there long enough to enjoy.

Don’t think the room was finished . Room clean, but no wash clothes, only 2 hot cups, I pkt of creamer & sugar, toilet roll not put on holder, spray bottle cleaner left in bathroom , only 3 pkt decaf coffee. Room wasn’t completely checked over

It was a little dated, lots of stains in the hallway, rooms and furniture in the rooms, but we had a pet, so maybe that's why we were put in that area, which I totally ubderstand. I did feel that the bed and bathroom were clean.
Was a pet friendly hotel which we needed. Perfect location for us. Front desk staff lovely, afternoon at check in and in the morning at check out. Hot breakfast, nice variety of food. Cost was reasonable.

Our heater kept blowing cold air.

The staff were amazing!! Very helpful and they went over and above to try and help us when we had to stay an extra day. Super friendly and smiles to great you as you went in and out.

First room we were given had TV and curtains which did not work and was a little shabby. Changed to a better room. Hard to get to from one direction.

I got bit up by bugs. It’s not noticeable until you get home.
The pool is heated. It’s nice to have access to the heated pool to relax. Plus, there are grills available as well.

We arrived at 4:30 and our rooms were not ready - check in was supposed to be 3:00 pm. It was very inconvenient due to profound family stressors. There was no apology or accommodation from the staff.

Street noise was quite loud as our room was facing the road.

The pillows were like sleeping on pancakes and the walls paper thin. You could hear a pin drop in a room beside you.
