To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United States of AmericaMost of the fitness equipment did not work properly. I pick hotels based on whether there is a fitness center. This one was definitely sub-standard. One of the tread mills didn't work. And weight machine needed calibration. My only option was the elliptical - it worked but was an older model.
Convenient location. Room was clean and recently updated. No issues checking in or out. Location was close to the Omaha Zoo - our destination. The hotel is about 8 miles from downtown.

Person responsible for handling breakfast also had to take care of front desk at same time. POOR MANAGEMENT!! We have stayed at LaQuinta several times this year never been this disappointed.p

United States of AmericaOne morning the water in the shower was just warm, not hot. Other days it was fine. This was my only issue.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent restaurant recommendation. Breakfast buffet was very neat and I really appreciated having fresh fruit. Room was very clean. Bed was comfortable with a good thick mattress and soft pillows. Room was quiet.

United States of AmericaUnfortunately even though this hotel was a cheaper one I didn’t expect it to smell like wet/ dirty carpet. The lobby area had very stained carpet and smelled and when we went up to the second floor the smell was throughout the hotel. Carpets were stained throughout. Room was ok but it did smell dingy also. Hot tub was nice but jets did not work. Not the best stay even for a cheaper hotel and I haven’t stay with this chain in awhile.
The hotel was in an ok area where it wasn’t too far off 80 and had many restaurants and businesses nearby. Staff was very friendly.
