To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Large parking area. Slides and pools for small children. Beds are comfortable. Convenient restaurant next door. Large grass area for walking pets.

Rather than the usual carb load, there were several different fruits, along with a very good selection of breakfast foods.

United States of AmericaThe pool is not made for teenagers to adults. If you have younger kids it was fine. The pool was small not much room to swim around. It was divided for smaller kids 2 ft deep and the other side was at the most 4ft deep by that was only by the end of the slide and that section of the pool could not hold very many kids.
The location was in a good spot still close to the main shopping areas

United States of AmericaWe arrived at 3:30 after a long drive and our room was not ready. This was very upsetting to my husband, as there were only about 8 cars in the parking lot. We left and went to do some shopping. Came back, and the room was still not ready. They blamed housekeeping and a full hotel the night before. How hard is it to clean the rooms that are booked for the next day first.

United States of AmericaI forgot my purse at a restaurant in Red Lodge and had no way of returning there to get my ID that evening. The staff had me in tears before they reached out to the “manager.” Electronic Cards and ID should be easier to use especially if you already made the reservation.

United States of AmericaSome things about the room were cheaply done such as poor quality doors and hardware for them. I was told that if my dogs barked I was responsible for what ever discount La Quinta provided. That was not disclosed on the app or their website, mildly frustrating.
Great location with lots of room for dogs to run without worrying about cars.

United States of AmericaThe only thing what we didn't like about this hotel was the room we were in it looked like it had blood stains on the carpet we couldn't tell. We didn't let the front desk know we should of but we just stayed one night.
We really like this hotel and the best part it's pet friendly. The lobby area was decorated very nice for Christmas. The breakfast was good and the size of the room is good.
