Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

wifi did not work in our room so there was no TV reception. The front desk said maintenance would come to look into the problem but no one came. The hotel is dated and the bed was marginally comfortable.
proximity to airport and free shuttle. The staff was courteous. Left before breakfast so I can’t comment on that.

when I booked the room , I booked it for 3 people, 2 beds. when we arrived I was told that they over booked and they didn’t have a room for us, unless we would take a king room. lucky for us, the 1st night there was only 2 of us, so it worked. the 2nd night we had to have a roll away bed brought into the room. In all it worked out okay but not what we had planned. they were also doing construction on the facility so it was dirty outside with lots of garbage. once they are done it will be a nice place to stay.

we missed our flight so just needed a quick stop over. the place is quite dated and hallway etc isn’t very inviting but bed was clean and comfortable so that was main thing. girl on the desk was a bit rude and no hospitality skills. wish we had known about free shuttle to get there from airport m. we took the free shuttle back to airport which leaves every 30 mins.

The pool wasn't usable There was no phone in the room Had to check into another room from original given the key wouldn't work in the second room either but they came and re keyed and it worked The staff very friendly and very helpful. Because of upgrades being completed there was alot of trash around the property

Check in staff seemed disinterested at best. But others were great.
Loved the location, lots of good restaurants around, so close to the airport! And we loved we could leave our car there for an extended period at a reasonable price.

The bathroom floors were not clean and the hallways were not vacuumed. The elevators didn't feel safe.
We were unable to use it due to our flight leaving prior to breakfast.

The breakfast was as advertised. Good for a light breakfast with coffee it tea. My kids appreciated the milk and juice. Dining area was clean and tidy.

I think booking. com was the biggest problem for us.
I liked the staff when we checked in. We were tired and cold, it was very late. She could not see nor find our reservation. I think it was our mistake. She took care of everything for us in a calm and businesslike manner. Because of her we had a good night's sleep. The room was a nice size, the decor was what I like. Lots of light. The shower water was hot. I had been on vacation for two weeks and that was our last day before going back to Japan and we finally had a hot shower. The breakfast was great. The other guests were nice to be around. The bus back to the airport was so helpful and on time, cheerful driver, nice man.

The two ladies who checked us in and out needed a bit of personality. They both barely spoke and were quite abrupt in answering any questions. It was like I was bothering them.
The breakfast room was clean, tidy and quite large. Breakfast choices were OK. Although looking a bit worn (they ARE in the process of updating this establishment) the whole place was clean.

The help when we checked in by Shiloh was great. Then towards the evening another staff worked the front desk, however no one was at the front. Rang the bell for service numerous times, finally she came out. Didn't get her name becuz she was rude, she didn't even smile, not very friendly at all. Other staff like house keeping was awesome. Very friendly & nice, welcoming. Our room was very clean that was a plus. That's that. Maybe next time will stay here again, only if they train the rest of their staff to be more friendly and smile wouldn't hurt either.
The free breakfast we liked. Also the drink station. Unlimited coffee, tea & juice, that was very welcoming. Shuttle driver's Rey & Lucas we're nice.
