Hidden fees, there is a $250 hold put on your card for incidentals, and they charge $15 a night for parking in their lot, shouldn't the parking fee be in the base price of the room? Brown water when you turn the shower on

*The beds were much too firm for my liking. At a previous stay at a La Quinta, I remember raving about the softness of the mattress. *Charging paying customers a parking fee seemed absurd. *The elevator is clear on the other side of the building. So, we had to do a bit of "Z" pattern to get to and from our room. *A courtesy call to inform me that the second guest had arrived would have been greatly appreciated instead of simply issuing them a key and sending them up to the room at 11 pm at night. Imagine dozing off and being abruptly awoken by someone attempting to get into your room.

I had an issue with my son’s room key malfunctioning twice within 2 days. It was corrected the first time immediately. The second instance the person kept asking my room number in a matter of factly tone. She then asked me for I.D. Of course I had to resort to going back to the lobby for another staff member to rectify the problem. It would be in the hotels best interest to have bilingual housekeeping staff. It was very hard for me to communicate with them and they were not at fault. Overall my stay was very pleasant.

I enjoyed the hot daily breakfast. Some staff members were courteous, professional and respectful. I want to give a shout out to the lady with the short hair cut that maned the front desk with skill and precision. Also, the older gentleman who I’m guessing is the head of the maintenance department.

The air conditioning was not working properly and the room never got to a good temperature. There were cracks in the floor.

We were not aware of additional fees that were going your way be charged at the time of the arrival. Staff wasn’t very helpful and the elevators did not work/properly efficiently.

They never changed our bedding. Had to ask for new towels. Had to empty our own trash.

We came at 3:00pm and was told our room was not ready and to give them 30 mins. So we left to get lunch. Came back 2 hours later and room was still not ready. Was told made left for lunch and never returned. Waited another hour plus and was told they were working on it. Got in room about 6:30pm. Was celebrating our daughter’s wedding and this really interrupted our plans. Hopefully this gets to someone who cares.

The location is perfect. You can walk to the beach. Parking is $15.00 which is a fair price. No big deposits required was always nice. It was nice to have a hot breakfast! Staff was pleasant under the circumstances.

Breakfast could of been better, one day I didn't even see butter for my toast. Lighting in room No bar!!!

I traveled from Europe and was not helped with ordering a taxi. Otherwise was assisted well. The cleaning of the rooms was great.

The breakfast was good and traveling with a child was as easy as it gets. Most of the staff members were friendly. Our room was decent for the price, please remember to ask for the cleaning if you need it every day. Ear plugs for the weekend might be a good option.

The conditions of the bathtub. It has rusted spots, not knowing that parking was not free on site like advertised, and the staff was not very friendly.

The elevator was barely working, the tub got clogged, when the bacon ran out at breakfast time they tried to put out raw undone bacon until someone said something about it. The room keys were very sensitive and we had to get them reactivated twice.

There wasn't any bacon at the breakfast and I wish breakfast ended at 10am instead of 9am.

Staff was incredibly rude, we were told pool would be available- it was closed! When I told staff I verified it would be open got a rude answer of well they lied to you!!!

Continental breakfast was out of food by 8 AM but was to stay open until 9 AM. Staff is having to do too many jobs therefore certain areas are not covered when they need to be.

Bathroom sink water is logging and not going through. Breakfast items ran out quickly with no replacement.
