The entire complex was painted grey. Not bright yellow like the picture suggests. Walkways were filthy, elevator smelled of urine. Cigarette burn marks on the tub. We counted 6. Only a thin sheet and a very very thin blanket acting as a comforter.

The lobby was newly painted and clean and the continental breakfast was nice

The Continental breakfast was very minimal. Didn't have juice, yogurt, and only apples. Sometimes oranges. Bad service. Didn't have room service. Had to call so they could collect trash. Stayed 4 nights and no chance of sheets or towels. Had to ask for toilet paper.

Property is dirty, unkempt. Trash receptacles are always full on property. For 3 days. Cigarette butt's on pavement in parking lot. Appeared not to have been swept in quite a while.

Staff double charging your card for the stay. Keeping everyone's deposits wrongly accusing people of reasons why.

There were no working ice machines nearby and there were damaged/unplugged lamps that we had to troubleshoot. There was an additional charge added to the hotel room fee and it was double charged on the card we used for payment. The front desk staff assured it would be removed upon checkout but this has not occurred yet.

The room was recently painted and there were some updated fixtures.

There are no laundry facilities despite it being advertised that there are some. When I asked at reception where they were located, the lady just shook her head wearily and said ‘no’ as if I was a moron. There seemed to be homeless people hanging about the building, which was a bit disconcerting. No fruit was made available at breakfast. Swimming pool was closed.

The comforter on the bed had multiple stains or dirty. Sticky on my nightstand. Toilet was very low and shower head , you had to squat under it was so low.

Wasn't told there would be an addition $100 to my bill that wasn't on my receipt. I demand that I have my money back today. Most hotels have a $50 deposit that doesn't even get charged charged to my card. This is ridiculous.

Only 1.light in the room worked. Offers breakfast but was not served on the day I was there.

Lady at check in was very rude. Seemed annoyed with us. There were people smoking all over the building yet we were told at every chance we would be charged if we were caught smoking. TV was locked at such a low volume we couldn't hear anything.

My stay was let down by the chambermaid, who willingly took the 'pillow money' each day, but neglected to make the bed, empty the waste bin, replace the coffee bags that I'd used, fold the towels, etc. The only thing that she appears to have done is pick up the pillow money. For an overnight stay this would not be a problem, but for a multi-day stay such as mine, it was an unnecessary inconvenience....

The room and the facilities were adequate. Hotel staff in general were friendly and helpful. Free breakfast was adequate. Access and parking were extremely convenient from the I25. Hotel is only a short drive to Garden of the Gods. Roads to downtown Colorado Springs were wide and uncrowded. There is a wide range of restaurants and stores in the general viscinity where one can purchase meals other than breakfast. All in all, it's a convenient property.

The place is filthy! Multiple outlets didn't work and 2 lightbulbs were burned out. There was a half roll of toilet paper and no spare and the bathroom sink didn't drain well. The pillow cases looked like they had been used already. There was a gap of at least a 1/4" at the bottom of the door and the room smelled. Easy access and a door with a gap meant we heard traffic all night.
