Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Pool was said to be heated, but was cold. Dogs were barking in hotel.

Your staff is totally incompetent when it comes to making reservations or paying, it was an absolute horror show, they unilaterally changed my reservations 4 times wrongly, I paid for the rooms when I left with my credit card then they charged me again after I left… it was the most stressful experience ever

The breakfast was not very good. It lacked verity in cold cereals. The only cold cereals were a verity of cheerios.

fire alarm kept going off because of humidity regulators in pool area. Because of that, elevators were shut off and we were on 3rd floor.

The luggage carts were the "airport" style/wheelchair-looking things instead of the hotel carts with the clothing hanger style, personal preference I suppose. No tea in room.
Lots of parking for larger vehicles. The exterior doors allowed for keycard access, making unloading/loading and walking the dog very easy. Ample items for purchase in the lobby.

The mattresses may need to be replaced soon. Mine was not comfortable, a bit too firm for me
The noise level was acceptable even though the hotel was full and it is right next to a very busy road. Also, the male check in host was funny and welcoming. Unfortunately I didn’t catch his name.

The barking dogs, The loud refrigerator in my room during the night, The lack of courtesy of other guest and how they where loud in the hallways. That my room was never refreshed while I was there. even thou I told one of the housekeepers
I like the location and how close it was to all the stores and restaurants, and that it was still quiet from the street traffic noise. The beds are comfortable, Breakfast was good, Excellent Customer Services from Staff. Overall the Hotel was always clean and smelling fresh.

On this transit, both coming and going, staying on different floors… the tv noise from the adjoining rooms were disturbing and went all night. We have not noticed this prior.
Springfield is halfway in our travel to see family and we like that the hotel is off the “beaten path” and quieter and we believe more secure than off the highway. A lot of amenities near by too.

System had technical problems with appropriately charging hotel bill. Front desk persons handled it great

There is a very strong bleach smell from the pool as you enter the lobby.
This was a nice hotel. They put us on the business floor and it was very quiet. The workers were all friendly. The hotel was clean. The bed was comfortable.

Really no complaints. The location is on a busy road but it really didn't impact our stay.
The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The decor in the room was nice. We really enjoyed our stay. The lady in charge of breakfast was soo nice and kept everything sparkling clean and filled.

The bed was the best that we slept in for our entire trip! Very comfortable and we also appreciated that the third floor was for business travelers as will as those guests not traveling with pets or children. It was quite and we appreciated that separation, especially since the night before where we stayed we had a baby cry into the night.
