Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Location was shady. The area isn't that great so the people hanging around outside and such were very shady

The carpet in hallways were needing to be steam cleaned. Spots all over. Couldn’t tell about spots in room as carpet was dark. There was a bit of an odd smell in room. I paid more for this location thinking it would be nicer, but it wasn’t. It was just ok. Guess it doesn’t matter the cost. Just has to do with manager of hotel.
It was an average LaQuinta.

The hot water in the shower was a bit finicky, and the hot/cold selection icons were flipped.
Overall, we had a great stay. The rooms were clean and the staff were friendly. The location was convenient, and about a 10-15 minute drive to downtown.

The window was missing part of the shade. It had the clear part but not the part where you couldn't see through. Tried telling the guy at the front desk he had no clue what I was saying.
The room was clean and it was very quiet.

Open the pool! It’s the end of March there’s no way the pool should not be open. The walls in my room were not clean… not sure what happened there

CONS: Sketchy neighborhood, was told to park in front only. Road noise, price you pay for ease of access to I 30 Noise in room, We were on 4th floor directly under big ROOFTOP A/C units which were always running.
PROS: Location, easy on and off of I 30. 10 mins from Fair Park. Clean Great beds Ok, plentiful breakfast

The one issue we ran into was an issue with our toilet. After about 4 or 5 flushes, the tank didn’t fill up and didn’t allow us to flush. The problem fixed itself overnight and we were able to flush again in the morning. Overall, it was a smaller issue, but probably would’ve been a bigger one had we stayed more than one night.
Breakfast was delicious and they had a good variety of things to choose from! Hotel room was very comfy!

The people in the next room were talking and were in and out the room all night. There was a guy at breakfast that came in from outside being loud and talking nonsense he wasn't stopped or ask to leave or nothing!

The room I had was nice and roomy, but the ceiling was peeling in one corner and in the middle, I couldn't use the floor lamp so lighting wasn't the best, but the worst was the deadbolt on the door didn't lock and the latch was a little bent so I did not feel secure!!
The location was good. Not actually sure why it's called Fairpark when it's not really close to the Fairpark. I was able to get a room on the 1st floor even though the front desk clerk wanted to put me on the 4th floor.

Upon our arrival in he lobby was dirty and had a strong urine odor. Also the first night into the morning a very strong weed odor was on our floor.
The issues were taken care of by staff and Saturday was a complete opposite of Friday nights arrival.

There was some food left in the microwave but the lady who was working the front desk took care of it.

The room was okay. The rug was dusty and seemed like they forgot to vacuum. We had a premier room with a little kitchenette, but no cups or silverware.
Easy check in, and the location was perfect. Hotel wasn't too crowded and front desk was friendly.

my kew to the room would deactivate each time i came back to my room, it was kind of frustrating having to go to the font desk every time i got back to the hotel. also, the location is very sketchy. i dont know Dallas, so i booked without knowing but i had to leave sooner.
