Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty

- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

We have no complaints!
We rested well in preparation for our cruise from Galveston. The location was great, near the parking facility for the airport, and we were able to meet our shuttle to the cruise port in Galveston. The cost for the accommodation was very reasonable.

Our entire family was on the 2nd floor and all weekend whomever was on the 3rd floor was annoying. They must have had kids with them because it sounded like a playground up there. It was very disturbing and loud even late hours of the night. We wanted to ask for another room the 1st night but all of our family was staying there and they were full.
We only stayed in the room and it was nice and comfortable and spacious. We didn't go down for breakfast either day but our family did and they enjoyed it. The pool was open so that was a bonus. The staff was great from front desk helping with my reservation before arriving to checking in all the way to the housekeepers. The 12 check out was great.

A bit of an attitude by the front desk staff during check-in. I made a mistake inputting my CC date of expiration on Booking.com, to which the person at the front desk reacted as if that was a major issue. The payment was taken by using another card to make it easier and to avoid more problems with the person at check-in. The hotel said that Booking.com is only for the booking of the room but that the payment is collected by the hotel. Apparently, this is the reason why the person at the front desk seemed to be worked up by my mistake on the expiration date in the CC. The shuttle service only starts at 5am, which didn't work for me because my flight departed at that same time.
Only 5 min from Hobby Airport. The room and bed were comfortable. Cleanliness standard but it passes. Overall a good stay.

In the fire alarm situation, it was a customer smoking in their room. Obviously, I did not care for this. The staff truly did exceptional job making sure grumpy evacuated customers were informed and kept comfortable.
Location is perfect for flying in and out of Houston From Hobby airport. The fire alarm went off at 5 AM and the staff did an incredible job of keeping everyone informed once people discovered it was an actual potential fire situation.

Small pillows. Some pet smell that was addressed by housekeeping.
Excellent Early Checkin! Very nice staff. So close to Hobby airport literally next door. Behind other hotels which was about confusing for ride shares. Comfy bed and large working desk with good WiFi. Did not use pool or eat breakfast due to early flight. Recommend for quick overnight stay.

The night clerk told us by phone to look for the RED VAN to shuttle to the hotel from Hobby Airport at 9:00 pm. We called three times and waited an hour and a half for a red shuttle. Finally after 3-4 passes a white shuttle asked us where we were going. It was a Best Western van. Turns out THIS was the “red van.” This guy at the hotel didn’t bother to make sure which van was on duty and left us and others waiting for 1.5 hrs in the cold at the airport.
Good location, food. Not very many electric outlets near the bed for phones, etc.

The pool and hot tub were dirty and cold. Hot tub wasn’t turned on. Disappointed.
Loved the free shuttle and closeness from the airport. Especially loved the Texas shaped waffle maker. So fun!

Hotel was understaffed, lobby felt deserted. One person was at the desk and often away from the desk to handle other chores. In-room coffee maker not near a reachable plug.
Clean room on high floor, comfortable bed. Cleaning staff was helpful and pleasant.

Night staff at check-in was unprofessional. She was having a personal conversation when we arrived and she didn’t greet us, didn’t apologize for the wait while she chatted away.

The person at the desk forgot to tell the shuttle driver to pick us up and left us waiting for over half an hour in the cold. Had to call back. She said she forgot because she was busy doing paperwork. When we finally got there she was not personable at all. When I returned to the desk she was not there. Had to speak loudly to find her. When she came out she said again she was busy with paperwork.
