Sour staff, unreasonable parking prices.

I've stayed at La Quinta before in other locations. Rooms were always beautiful. They were obviously undergoing some type of construction. The room was nice and clean but the mattress was the most uncomfortable I had ever slept on. I woke up with my back killing me. The pillows were cheap and too soft. There was no room service or breakfast just grab bags from 7-9a. The staff was not welcoming or friendly in any way. I never received a smile from any of the front desk staff nor were they eager to answer questions when asked. Complete lack of enthusiasm or interest. By the way $45/nt for parking is outlandish!

- The breakfast was a joke, just toasts with jam and coffee; on some days not even that due to reconstruction works - The area around the hotel isn’t very pretty - The hotel added around $60 of local taxes that were not listed by Booking

- The rooms were nice, just like pictured on the page - Good value for money

Was under renovation so a few things not available. Didn’t know that when booking.

Staff was fantastic! All very friendly and helpful even though they were busy. Really appreciated them. Room was clean and comfortable.

The lobby was under construction, which I understand is a necessary process for any facility from time to time, but I still hate being caught off guard showing up to a hotel under construction. I specifically book hotels with the free breakfast because its an easy way to make sure I can get my kids a decent breakfast in the morning without the hassle of having to go elsewhere but because of the construction it was limited to a brown bag breakfast with muffin and juice. Not really what I was picturing. The room was actually nicer than I expected based on my first impression of the lobby and elevators. So that is good.

The room was clean and comfortable. We needed a place to crash for the night after arriving into LAX very late. This served that functional need.

Unresponsive front desk

Pretty modern rooms with small fridge, microwave and iron. Pillows are not comfortable. Everything else is good. Free shuttle every 30 minutes.

Entrance to parking by a car the was left empty due to someone checking in. Had to wait nearly twenty minutes for the customer to return to the car

Breakfast not available - grab and go bag very poor - small muffin, apple, small juice and water. Not told when we booked in breakfast not available. Lady on reception good / male not very helpful. Seemed like he did not want to be there. Waited over an hour for shuttle from airport. Communication from La Quinta very poor. Tried to contact hotel about shuttle but disconnected four times. Not impressed

Parking within the property was $45 , the car park as expected from a multi-story being cramped for space and the barriers them selves to get out was not ideal wouldn’t recommend parking within the hotel grounds

Ideal location straight from airport and not far from the beach front , staff were friendly and helpful with any questions asked . The room itself self was lovely spacious

There was construction happening in a nearby room, so when we were trying to get some sleep, it was so aggravating hearing that banging noise.

I loved the front receptionist. She was very helpful and just loved her vibe. Wish i would of gotten her name!

Gym was closed. Breakfast was difficult, no where to sit, not much to choose from. There appeared to be 2 bus loads of other tourists all trying to have breakfast at the same time.

Very clean and simple room. Shower A+. Very comfortable bed, quiet. Helpful staff and check in was very easy. Would recommend if you need an overnight at LAX

A bit tired. Breakfast was very limited and cereal tasted stale. Staff didn’t appear very friendly; perhaps they were tired also!

Breakfast didn’t start until 7:00 so we couldn’t get it before our flight. Parking fee was outrageous and was not included or even estimated when we made the booking. Parking was 40% of the cost of the room. That’s ridiculous!

The hallways were a bit run down and the elevator cabs had pieces of arborite facing broken off, giving this property a poor first impression. Also, breakfast was very minimal - 1 two slot toaster meant there was a continuous queue for people toasting bread.

The breakfast was not the best but everything else was good. Had to pay $45 parking for the each of the 3 cars that we had.

Everything worked in the 3 rooms that we got. Staff was friendly.
