Problem with getting my room cleaned. More than once had to go to front desk for towels. Breakfast was another issue refrigerator was inoperative milk and juices were warm. When items ran low they were not replenished.

the clients doesn’t care about other clients especially when they give a noisy call on the balcony close to other rooms and when they come back in the night from New Orleans probably drunk.

Full size beds, cigarette smell everywhere, no housekeeping why we there and no towels in our room had to go get towels every day we were there (3days)

We had to try 3 different room keys until we were finally moved to a different room. Our new room did not have comforters on the bed, just a singular sheet, did not realize until we had come back ready for bed. Absolutely could have went and asked for one, we didn’t because we were so tired. No fridge or microwave in our room, even though our friends had it in their rooms. Hardly any outlets in the room. Overall okay stay.

It was very convenient to the location we were going too.

We never received new towels. We told the lady at check in that they could bring us new towels daily.we were there 3 nights.

Not much. The rooms were very small, the bathroom was not up to class; door had chipped molding around the floor board and very limited towels. There were three of us and only two sets of towels. one half roll of toilet paper and one extra roll. our stay was for three nights and we got no extra service to our room at all. when we called down on the evening of our three night for another roll of toilet paper and two more towels, they told us to come get them ourselves. I have stayed many times over the years at LaQuinta Inns and this was in deed the worst one. I will think twice before I just check into another one because of the name. I was very disappointed.

the facility on the outside was fine, but the complex itself was not maintained very well as I would expect a LaQuinta Inn to be.

I needed an extra pillow and was told by a grinning member of staff that they had no extra pillows available in the (near empty) hotel. Rather than open one of the many many many many empty rooms and hand me a pillow this member of staff kept repeating that there were NO spare pillows available in the ENTIRE hotel and she grinned joyously while telling me so. The hotel is old and it desperately needs updating. but I usually overlook all that if the staff are actually attentive and make an effort....so this time I'm not overlooking it. The rooms were clean.

The exterior of the hotel worried me about how nice my room would be. The lobby was a little run down. The breakfast was continental. There was no hot food just prepaid items, cereal and toast.

The room was clean. It was obvious that they had put some work into updating its adorable and making it comfortable.

A rat was in our room but we lived with it because it was close to where we needed to be. Other guests were very noisy like this is an extended stay or something. It was very nerve wreaking. You could hear people slamming their room doors all night. No sleep at all. Room had a horrible smell.

After the first night it rain, which led to a leak in my room above the A\C unit. The phone in the room did not work neither did the two lamp lights by the beds. I was offered another room because of this but that one did not have a microwave and refrigerator in it. Also, this room was on the second floor and the hotel location did not have any handicap rooms. The toilet in the bathroom of the original room was extremely low and the side of the tub was coming loose. I am waiting to receive my refund.

The main thing was not the hotel's fault. I googled how far it was to walk to the Convention Centre wanting to walk there in the morning to get my exercise. However New Orleans is awful for walking and there is no sidewalk on the bridge and apparently it is not allowed to walk there so I had to take Ubers both ways each day which was expensive. No bus service on Sundays The room was only cleaned on my third day there and the shower water took forever to drain so i was up to my ankles during a shower. The light in the bathroom also did not work it was also very noisy with guests coming home and being very loud up to 2.30 in the morning

The area looked a little seedy and as soon as I opened the door, I was hit with a black mold and mildew smell. it smelled damp in there. it practically took my breath away. After an hour in the room you adapt to the smell but mentally you’re like eww, this is not good for me to be breathing in! The lock on the door was frightening too as it had screws missing and two screws loose that I could retwist and my husband said “wow, I wonder how many times this door has been kicked in”? I was very unsettled in my sleep and glad we were only staying the night!

I liked that they allowed cruisers to park there for free and the distance from there to the port terminal wasn’t far.
