Parking isn’t far away but is just far enough that traveling with large luggage is a bit of a pain. WiFi in the carriage house was intermittent.

Great location and friendly staff. Option to stay in a historic or a more modern room. Area was walkable with lots of good food options nearby.

Nothing, all seemed to be good for the price.

Location was excellent, as were the staff. All very good. U could have a coffee, lunch or early dinner in the hotel. I didn't, but the dinning area was always full. Great room, nice and big with everything there. Couldn't really fault.

very difficult to connect to internet. (I was doing some number of hours of work each day which required good internet connection). Hotel staff "rebooted", several times, gave me a different internet to connect to, different log in password, still didn't stay connected. Finally gave me hotel cell phone "hotspot" and told me I could keep it until I checked out. I was able to connect, keep connection more reliably, but not sure about the security. In 2024, not having reliable internet in a city and location where it is expected is unacceptable.

staff very friendly and helpful when I had internet issues. liked location, walking distance to interesting railroad square restaurants, etc. that wasn't why I chose the hotel but it was nice.

Unique “old world” charm. Every room is different. Walkable location close to SMART train. Excellent restaurant onsite.

The beds were a bit too soft for our preferences. The (mid-century?) elevator could use a fresh carpet and some update of wall panels (a quibble, but all the more noticeable given the otherwise exquisite combination of freshness and period detail). I miss drinking glasses made of actual glass instead of single-use plastic.

Truly delighted to find such a well-loved and well-preserved historical gem. The staff was excellent, linens were substantial and sparkling clean, the furnishings and bathroom fixtures lovely and perfect.

I can not say that there was one thing I didn't like. I typically try to find at least one thing that I would change or do differently. However, Hotel La Rose was just a great experience all the way around.

The staff here is very friendly and extremely accommodating. Our rooms were very clean, very neat and very comfortable. Parking was super easy, and there is a lot of shops within walking distance.

The only you want off complaint that we had is the street noise is pretty significant on the weekends. We were on the third floor and it was pretty loud up until about 2:00 a.m. when the bars close.

The hotel is a lot of character. It was very clean and although it's an older building they did a great job converting it to today's amenities.

Very nice staff, very helpful, they added a fridge, a microwave and a pack and play for our baby. We stayed in a large room in the carriage house, on ground floor, very convenient as we are a family with very young kids. The location was perfect: short distance to Bodega Bay, Russian river, redwoods.
