There was no coffee service in the room and parking by valet only, and quite expensive. We ended up parking on the street and using meters that we had to get up and feed in the morning.

The hotel is on a cliff looking over the ocean which we could see from our room. They have a nice outdoor area and beach access.

At the time I was traveling there were some renovations going on.

The location is extremely comfortable, next to a supermarket and right across the beach. There is also a fantastic deck, well equipped, where you can enjoy listening to the sea.

The room needed updating, but they're getting to it. I will say the path down to the beach wouldn't be good for out of shape or elderly folks. It's a hike down to the beach and up to the upper rooms, but it was fine for our family.

The view was phenomenal. The room was dated, but that's why we got a good deal I believe. They're renovating the rooms and ours hadn't been renovated yet. It was clean and comfortable enough and we weren't there for the room anyway. Nothing could beat the view. The staff was very helpful and friendly! Also the decks for patrons on the different levels were so inviting with fire pits and comfortable seating while watching sunsets or surfers.

They charge for amenities even the day you leave, I don’t think it’s something that should be charged for everyone only if used.

Close to a lot of food places, groceries, beaches! Everything was walking distance.

The rooms are dated, rugs need to be replaced or changed to a laminate floor or wood. The room smelled a bit like a locker room. The outrageous price of 38 dollars a night to overnight park when you are paying 300 plus a night for the room is absurd.

Access to the beach was outstanding despite the steep descending switchbacks. Location to restaurants and the Pageant of the masters was ideal.

Dark stuff dropped on our deck from roof, but found the place generally among the best near here.

Great location and a vert good room for here. But the roof dropped discolored stuff on our patio lucky didn't hit us or our belonings. Really loved views and ambiance staff were heros and would help with about anything, so, great people! Buildings are a work in progerss

The room description says that there is AC in the rooms, but we only had 3 fans in an 80+ degree room. We opened the windows to circulate the air, but they had no screens, so little bugs flew in at night…The telephone in the room was not working, apparently due to recent construction, so I walked to the front to inquire about the AC and the screen. The front was not sure about the AC, and could not help with finding a screen at 9pm, and we were asked to wait until the after-hour staff came in. The gentleman at 11:15pm told us our room had no AC, and looked for some screens for us, but there was none that was a perfect fit. We took the bigger one that covered most of the opening but with a gap… We wish the hotel gave us a heads-up on the missing amenities and the additional parking charge in advance.

The view from the hotel was gorgeous. We really enjoyed the common porch area with lounge chairs and umbrellas. The staff member cleaning the area in the morning noticed that we needed help with the umbrella, and went out of his way to help us get some shade. Access to the beach was very easy, too.

Not that much when you consider the age of the motel but improvements were being added while we were there. Parking was tough but if we come back next year we'll probably Uber from the airport.

Location was perfect for getting around and near a lot of places we needed to be.
