Went to get in bed at night with my 1 year old to find a paper receipt from a previous customer. Figured maybe it got caught up in the sheets during wash. Nope. Crumbs ALL in my bed. Beds are very hard, pillows are very hard. My feet dangled off the bed & I am only 5’4”. Lastly. We connected to the Wi-Fi and the search history on YouTube was scary. Lots of “feet” “saying yes for 24 hours feet” “stinky feet” videos being searched. Be careful.

Check in was easy even though they didn’t have my name on the list for the day, they still gave us our room with no issues. Pool and pool area are very clean. Staff is very friendly. Location was great.

Low price for a decent stay. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Location was great. We didn't have to drive or pay to park and walked all around town. We really enjoyed the pool too

SCARY that this place is in operation. We had an “older” room which smelled. We were scared to walk the carpet without shoes on. The worst-the roach that fell from the shower vent onto the shower floor. While in the bathroom, thank goodness no one was in the shower at the time. We fled at 6:30am as a result. Don’t do it to yourself!

The pool was decent, however what we liked best was staying out of the room!

We disliked EVERYTHING. We paid $440 for terrible beds, the cable tv didn’t even work and there was a barking dog next door to us until 2 am.

We had no breakfast. I liked nothing about this motel. The woman at the front desk was nice.

The flowers on the grounds are absolutely beautiful and attracting, but probably should not be all around the pool enclosure or outside of the rooms- connected to fences and railings. Some (few, but still present) of the “fallen” flowers were making their way into the pool- along with (a few) small drowned bees. Flowers in flower boxes (with bees buzzing around them) we’re right behind our heads while we were sitting by the pool, and while sitting outside our room. Flower boxes on deck railings block some of the beautiful views, and also attract bees and bugs. It wasn’t terribly buggy, but still a suggestion- to still have flowers, but not in those areas, maybe just by the office area, and near the signage where people don’t tend to hang around or sit near. Other than that, it’s really a great and decent place to stay!!

There were no coffee pots in the room. The lighting was a little bit dim. The TV service was terrible. Very little stations to watch.

The rooms are extremely small for 4 people. The air conditioner did not cool the room off. We had to buy a fan. The shower was awful. Took 5 minutes for the hot water to come on. The floors were not vacuumed. Beer caps still on the floor. Bed was not comfortable. Felt as though you could slide off.

We booked very late and got a small room at the front of the motel. (I am sure there might be larger, nicer rooms available facing the lake at the motel's rear.) Our room smelled musty and was so small we could barely get our luggage inside. As the week went on, it was difficult to get the room cleaned and the smell grew worse and worse. Fortunately, we found many activities in the Lake George area so spent little time in our room! The motel also had spotty wi-fi, and the mattresses were uncomfortable. You could feel every spring, On the whole, it felt like a motel that had fallen on hard times and badly needed updates.

The best part of Lake Haven is its location, on Canada St. in Lake George. It is right across the street from a very good breakfast place and a reasonable walk from other restaurants and attractions.

We have been coming to LG for a few years now and we’ve stayed at Lake Haven majority of the time. We love the rooms, the cleanliness, staff and definitely love the pool.

The property could use some updating. The walls need painting, the sheets had pulls on them. The water in the shower turned hot and cold while taking one. The furniture in the pool area was broken. The water in the pool was not clear you couldn’t see the bottom of the pool. There was old food behind the dresser.

While the sheets should be thrown out, the bed was comfortable . The location was convenient.
