It was a short stay. a place to sleep. it was secluded. quiet. calming. it was a great place for a quick stopiover on our way home.

The resort was quiet in early May, which I enjoyed for our quick stop. The cabins were right near the water's edge with beautiful views towards the mountains. The standard cabin was spacious and comfortable with easy-to-adjust heating. The front desk was easy to communicate with to coordinate a check-in time and they provided a sweet kit of helpful things for having a pet in the room (sheet covers, doggy bag, a couple of treats)!

The small fridge in our cabin/room needed defrosting badly (A LOT of built up ice/frost - door wouldn't close completely!) so we told the staff the next morning after our first night's stay because calling the after hours number didn't reach anyone (but did go to voicemail...) Long story short, it got defrosted while we were gone on the first day (stayed 3 nights total) because the frost melted into a puddle on the floor, which we sopped up with the room's towels. And it took us a while to figure out they had unplugged the fridge but didn't plug it back in, eventually we re-plugged it in & had a working fridge halfway through our visit 🤣

Cozy cabin with beautiful back porch views of the lake 👍👍 and we enjoyed the free kayaking. We tried to get a camp fire going, but couldn't get it to take... it was a fun adventure trying tho 😉

the restaurant was closed on Sunday night and Monday night, the two nights we were there. The information on Booking did not specify that. We would not have made the reservation if we had known about this. There were several dogs which were not under control, were not a on a lease (as was instructed), swam in the lake (was forbidden) and had pooped right in front of our cabin, which had not been removed (which was horrible!).

Cute set up next to lake with fire pits and Adirondack chairs. Waterfront with boats, kayaks and paddle boards and the restaurant is nice with a patio on the water.

Wall is pretty thin, so we could hear the family of 5 banging around and making noise until about 11pm. Luckily we had a sound machine for our son, so he slept through it.

I had preordered a breakfast burrito to be in my room, but there was none. Restaurant and office not open in am. I was disappointed there was nothing to eat and no one to tell

The only issue we had was that the walls are very thin - we could clearly hear the person next in the adjoining room talking on the phone. We used the TV as white noise, but worried about bothering them. It would be perfect for groups/families who need 2 adjoining rooms.

Location right on the lake was beautiful! We had hoped to fish & sit on the lovely porch facing the lake reading, but it was too cold & rainy - hope to go back again! Cabin was big - had a table, desks, fireplace (which we enjoyed!), nice bathroom, and comfortable bed. Enjoyed a nice, quiet meal at the on-site restaurant. We had a great overnight stay!

the heating system was on the blink, impossible to operate ( either full blast or off). The gas fireplace was not functioning.

really a very good surprise. Did not expect this level of quality in Pinedale. We had chosen the village because we were driving up from Moab to Yellowstone. But we were floored by the really incredible experience. Really nice cabin, spacious and clean, comfortable. A deck that faced the lake, with adirondack chairs. Nice views. Good comfortable bed. The restaurant was pretty good too - nice selection of food, well prepared. The motto of Pinedale is "all the civilization you need" and we got more than we needed.
