Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The bathroom was moderately clean. There was no trash can, the tub had chipped paint, the light switch worked when it wanted to.

Staff was indifferent. Not very friendly. Rooms were older but had some new updates making it fine. Refrigerator was hard to close

There was a decent selection for breakfast however it was cold. The food warmer sterno wasn't lit (8am) so I had to warm up my food in the microwave located in the cafe. One other negative to me, was the beds were uncomfortable and the bed pillows were small.
Guest services was very nice!! She was able to accommodate an early check- in with no additional charge. The hotel was in a great area off main highway and within walking distance of restaurants and shopping. The lobby and hotel room was clean and had great space for setting up a laptop and working.

Bathroom in handicap accessible rooms could use updating. The bathtub floor was painted over and felt slimy. I had to use flip flops to take a shower in order to not touch the floor of the shower.

we saw a person (not guest) wondering for the hotel common parts: first in the laundry room and then in the corridor and on the stairway. Told to the person on duty at the front desk who checked but didn't take any action.

Bathroom had some peeling paint and cracks and n the wall, as well as chips and peeling in the bathtub, which tapered on the bottom edges to create a valley as the base of the tub rather than a flat surface. While the room was clean, the bathroom left a little to be desired as there was hair from a previous occupant still stuck to the walls of the shower. Also, the complimentary soap and shampoo was not sealed, which leaves no way to tell whether it is new or is the remainder from a previous guest.

We checked in for a 2 night stay. Had to go to the front desk on the second night to get the key reprogrammed since they only did it for one night.

Everything was fine, but my lock on my door did not work. However, the last time I stayed my room was okay. I had to wait for towels for 30 minutes and had to call back to remind them.

Bathtub was old.
Staff was very nice. Night time staff was very kind and helpful with some items, but was short when asked about TV stations and other items. Breakfast was missing the second morning and the early staff was testy.

I didn’t like that the pool was closed and the lighting was horrible in the rooms. No bright lights not even in the restroom. Didn’t like the carpet in the hotel lobby or rooms. My allergies were horrible after my stay but I’m not sure if it was because of the carpet or the remodeling.
