Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaI arrived and there was marihuana smell so guests had been smoking inside the house. People looked kind of creepy too. I had booked a room for myself but to get in I had to first get in one of the shared rooms. I never used the bathroom to shower because I didn’t feel safe at all in this place. I just locked myself up in the room. I spent less than 10 hours there so it turned out to be fine. But I would not recommend any woman or man on their own to go to this place. And I would never recommend this place for more than a night.
The location is convenient if you have to fly the next day and just need to stay for the night.

AustraliaI didn't like that guests in my room are extremely noisy and it's impossible to get a sleep. There should be a clear instruction for the guests to be quite at certains specially during bed times.
when it comes to location it's the right place because it's close to the airport and shops just on the same street where the hostel is located.

United States of AmericaWalking down Century Boulevard from the ariport to the hostel involves passing under interstate 405. It'a a kind of dystopian gauntlet. Hard to believe that the city can't clean that up. If full the hostel could use another bathroom, but I had no issues there.
This is a hostel that offers some private rooms. I had one of those. The kitchen area was very serviceable, the place was clean and my room was newly painted. I got a good night's sleep. There were a couple of Mexican restaurants very near to the hostel.

United States of AmericaSaw cockroaches in there as i walked in, host had a bit of an attitude, probably cranky since i came late due to my flight getting delayed, one staff member was rude to guests, no soap was provided, I slept on the couch since it was already full, and couldnt sleep due to arguing amongst guests all night happening in the middle of the night, they almost got into a fight, made me feel unsafe, didnt wanted to charge my phone and charger there since someone was being accused of stealing the entire night, and host offered to give me partial refund, but I dont believe that will be happening.
host was decently nice and provided towel, pillow and blankets so I apprecied that.

United States of AmericaThe people who work there are just rude.. The guests were cool but the people in charge are mean.. there was a guest who showed up around midnight, his plane was delayed, they told him to leave because he didn´t have a bed anymore, after a discussion he was able to sleep on the couch, when he already paid for his bed... if you need to stay 1 night and you don´t want to spend much, maybe, you´ll like this place, for more than 1 day, avoid this...

United States of AmericaI asked twice if there was public transportation to the hostel and got no answer. Constant electrical outages at night in the house, as in, the bathroom had no light. Waited about half an hour for bus in the morning. Snorer. Loud, angry guest scared people by protesting the snoring and someone peeing on bathroom floor (she said it was water from washing her face). I agree that people who snore shouldn't stay in hostels. Why should they be the only ones who get to sleep? Room was crowded.
117 bus runs along Century Blvd to the hostel. Sweet house appearance. Bottom bunk because I couldn't climb to a top bunk.i felt kind of gutsy checking it out. Guests from different cultures getting the coffee machine to work in the morning. 3 close dollar stores. Not too bad to take buses to a copy shop on Sepulveda.
