Jacuzzi, I never found the button to turn it on after I filled it with water but I still enjoyed relaxing in the warm water.

Easy to find great location, Douglas welcomed and responded quickly. Quiet, steps are a little to squeaky lol over all great place.

Maybe if I stay more than 2 day I would think about choosing this facility as a second shelter on week end.

The comfort was exceptional, the house is admirable; I am dreaming to stay bay at any time I have to be close to this castle. I plan to refer any friend coming to this area to tell about my one day enjoyable it was.

The building is older so walking the ground makes noise. I was on the very top floor so I didn't hear noise from top but I assume others could hear me walking on 2nd floor. I also could hear another guest talking on 2nd floor, But i had ear plugs so It didn't bother me. Great value for the price and location.

The bed was so comfy I didnt want to leave! Giant Sauna bath. Very private up on the top floor. Very quiet overal though I had to use earl plugs. Free coffee and water. Host is responsive. Friendly person was living there.

There is nothing around like stores or anything besides other homes since it is located in a residential area.

The place was ok for a short stay or in transit. Easy to access thru Uber or taxi and close to the port of Cape Liberty and the airport. NJ Transit is at a 30 min walk and from there you can go NY easily by train.

You just need to be aware, that you have to commute to New York city. Trip is not via the Subway system, but via New Jersey transit. Otherwise nothing to complain.

Really nice house and Douglas is very friendly! Kitchen is well equipped. Really nice neighborhood! Can go to New York City via the New Jersey Transit trains. 7.25 $ single fare. 15 min walk to Elizabeth station and then 33 min train ride to New York Penn station. Would stay here again!

The water dispenser was empty, the heating does not work with the same efficiency in all rooms.

Safe neighborhood. Option to park car behind. Ease of entry and exit whenever required. Very quiet place but close to commerce and Kean University.

Very easy to find and close to Newark-Liberty International Airport. The house is spacious and clean, although the floorboards on the stairs are pretty sensitive and makes lots of noises so I had to watch my steps while walking up and down but that didn't really bother me too much because this IS a house, not a hotel and might be built way back then. My flight landed 5 hours before check in time (2pm) and I asked if it was possible to check in early to which they let me and had my room ready on arrival which I'm very grateful for! They also give you instructions for check in which was super helpful and easy to follow. The neighborhood is very chill and gives you a feel of an all American neighborhood in the east coast.

The bed was way too soft with the extra padding added on what seemed to be an already cushion top mattress, very uncomfortable for my taste.

I booked this place last minute after some panic flight changes due to poor weather in Iceland, so was a bit nervous about the whole thing, not knowing the area or anything. I needn’t have worried! This lovely suburban home is easy to reach from Newark by taxi (expensive at $40) or by bus (#62 for about $2 which you take to its end stop at E Jersey and Madison. Then it’s a 10-15min walk) I took the bus! The host at the property sent me a key code for the front door and the number of my room, and when I let myself in I found the room key in the bedroom door. The room was really clean, comfortable, and quiet. Like staying at a friend’s house. I loved it! The next day I took another bus in to New York City Port Authority bus station. That was easy too, but the buses aren’t frequent. Anyway all in all a fun adventure, and I can’t recommend the accommodation enough. Bargain of the year!
