To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United States of AmericaOn website we asked for a two bedroom, didn’t see it was on the 3rd floor which was very hard for us being senior citizens and should be predominantly stated first on your add. Also no local tv on main tv and bedroom tv did not work, also had to buy batteries for main tv remote.

United States of Americaunable to use the TV, Cable, Roku not working. there were no instructions on how to use or reboot cable/tv. Did not realize it was third floor, my spouse has bad knees so wasn't pleasant to climb so many stairs every time we left and came back,
Had all amenities, nice shower, clean bedding, nice apt feel. able to cook meals, all cook ware and cleaning supplies were available. Nice view of water/gulf , nice porch and seats outside. Close walk to beach. Very good for the price. Apt is exactly like picture .

United States of AmericaThe only issue I had was the broken back door. It broke my girlfriends nail when she tried to close it. While it is somewhat functional - It was off the rail. I think the place could have benefited from a tv in the bedroom and a fan.

United States of AmericaI was hoping some cleaning supplies would be there ( broom, trash bags, etc) but there was none. Being on the third floor also was a little bit of a pain, but managed.
I loved having the balcony, our furr baby truly enjoyed hanging out out there.
