Hadn't stayed at a Holiday Inn in some time. Figured the facilities would have been updated but this hotel just looked and felt old. Reminded me of spring break 2008. Everything was clean but the dated-ness just made me feel uneasy.

Staff helped with lowering the bed to make it more wheelchair accessible.

The other room was stinky and carpet was dirty. No hair dryer and it looked like the entertainment center was broken at one time.

Location. One room was good. Food decent. Host/receptionist was helpful in getting clean towels and toilet paper.

Tub/shower had a Crack up the wall and window view was of a shipping container that covered the window.

Several areas where closed due to remodeling. The breakfast area was tore apart for remodeling, and they used 3 rooms for the breakfast area. The scope of the food, and quality of the areas where diminished due to remodeling. They get a pass on it this visit.

Clean hotel even with it being remodeled. Have stayed he before several times since the place was built. This is the first major remodel. It was in need. So the dust and noise, while somewhat annoying, is to be expected and warrented.

Front desk said our room was not ready to checkin at 4:30pm. Went to an early dinner and came back. She had to call her manager to be talked through how to move us to another room. Apparently going through booking.com and prepaying was the issue for her. Some bathroom chalking was missing and the tub looked worn.

Bed and pillows were great, especially the pillows.

The facility and room was in need of some updating as there was minor damage and stain on carpet and desk chair. The room also had a mildew smell which was not a good first impression

Around 11p there was a knock on the door about a noise complaint. My daughter had a tired meltdown after a long day like 2 hours before. I felt like the staff were not super understanding and seemed a little threatening about keeping our noise level down over something that a) had happened 2 HOURS prior and b) had lasted 5 minor less. They seem to indicate that the noise was beyond what is acceptable and had been constant which was not the case at all. I got the feeling that the person complaining was being a “Karen” and the staff did not handle appropriately.

Everything was very clean and organized. The rooms were comfortable and the breakfast was good.

The first room we were in smelled very musty. We had to move rooms. It was a little inconvenient. Rooms definatly need to be updated

I requested a king bed room, but we were given a room with 2 queen beds because they didn't have any king rooms left when we checked in. I was told that the system apparently defaulted to the room we were given when they checked in the last guest who had requested a king room. The staff couldn't explain how we didn't get what we requested... Also, the room was not cleaned while we were there and the trash was not emptied.

Breakfast was much better than other comparable hotels. Good selection, food was hot and tasty. Pleasant staff. They couldn't help with the things we asked of them: my computer said it was connected to the internet but it wasn't. My phone connected without difficulty.

They overbooked the hotel and my room was given away. There was a softball team and huge wedding party booked. The wedding party took over the parking lot outside main door and couldnt park there to check in. Kids were running up and down the hall then someone hit the fire alarm at 1am. There was no control over the people from hotel staff

Since room got booked, we are getting free nights stay with upgrade in 5 days on our travel back home.

The reservation was a bit on the expensive side for a single night.

The room was large and clean. It was in a convenient location. The young man who checked us in ( Bobby or maybe Robby - not sure of the name), but he was amazing! He made us feel soooo welcome. We didn't have special needs, but if we had, I would have felt very comfortable going back to him.

The pool could have been a few degrees warmer, in my opinion. It wasn't cold at all, but I'm old and get chilled easy.

The staff is amazing. The lady that organizes the breakfast is a doll! She was so friendly but not annoyingly so. Great stay!
