Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The bathroom was very small. The bed was on a platform that stuck out. I kicked it twice with my shoes on,but my husband got up during the night and kicked it and felt like he broke his toe.
It was clean, you didn't hear all the noise in the room.

They have a big room in the lobby that is unused. They could offer just a simple continental breakfast. At this time the only thing they offer is coffee in the lobby. Rooms don't have coffee makers. Also, there is no bottled water in the vending machine. And water out of the faucet is undrinkable!
Clean and comfortable bed. Staff was super friendly and helpful.

Wished it had a beach front, but wasn’t a problem as it’s literally seconds away from the water on both sides of the road. We truly had no complaints!
We got to the island 8-9 hours early from check in and wandered around the island as long as we could but we’re exhausted from an 8 hour drive, we went to the hotel a little after 2pm to find out if we could check in early if we paid extra, and to our delight, he didn’t charge us to check in early! You can’t imagine the extra happiness and comfort that gave us to just have a place to land a few minutes early. He was very friendly, was always outside checking on guests, was very pleasant and kind and it felt very safe. Great location, rooms were clean, beds were comfortable. It made our stay so much more pleasant having a nice hotel to relax in. And the price was so affordable and gave us an extra cushion on slurging on our trip instead of paying outrageous hotel fees.

Not enough options for breakfast. The coffee was cold. A little pricey at $200 the night and no continental breakfast for the price.

Pool is a little small.

The tub didn't drain well and when you have a little one that needs a tub bath, but you've already taken a shower and the tub has sand...well, it was difficult to get the sand out with it draining very slowly. Also, the mattress cover had hair on it...it wasn't mine. Eek.
The staff was very nice, the location is great, and the beds were comfy.

Mold around shower wall. Black grunge in lavoratory drain. Some painting made the outside quite unbearable.
Other than tub and sink drain the room was very clean and beds were very comfortable. Quiet inside room. The staff were very friendly and accommodating.

Double charged, screamed and yelled at by hotel staff when I called to have the other charge removed. Then I was called back and told it would be removed. The hotel staff apologized for yelling and hanging up, and said she was having a bad day.
The breakfast was a granola bar and a juice box in a brown paper bag. Motel was simple, and clean. The pool looks a lot bigger on these photos than it really is. It is a tiny rectangle, packed with what we were told were the manager's screaming children. We never used the pool. If you're looking for somewhere just to sleep on your vacation since you will be out all day, this one is fine. But, next time we will stay somewhere else. Even though the staff was relatively friendly while we were there, when we got home I noticed I was double charged on my credit card. I called them just to have them remove one of the charges and she screamed at me and yelled at me and hung up on me, then called me back, and said she was having a bad day, and would remove the other charge, which she did a day later.

The beds and pillows weren’t the comfiest, but it was not bad at all! I would definitely stay here again!
The property was exceptional and clean. We were worried about the cleanliness due to the bad reviews, but we’re pleasantly surprised! We didn’t even have to use the extra bed sheets that we brought. It was also in a great location where we could walk to everything.

While we cannot complain for the price we like to point the lack of a closet really was a turn down. Staying 5 nights with several changes of clothes out a backpack every day is a nuisance. Location is good and the room was clean but also wished they will make the beds on a daily basis. One time they knock and only handed clean towels and that was it! Lady said they would not come back that day and they didn't , we dislike that. Also it said there was breakfast and it was only coffe (very thin) big a brown bag with a kid juice box and cookies, better not advertise and misleading people with that.
