Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaFirst we received emails before coming with info and asking if we have any special requests etc. Which was very nice and we felt very welcomed. The property is clean, taken care of and we got a great room. It was quiet, bed was comfy and we liked the look/vibe of the room. There were many activities that you could do, we loved that the had yoga classes. Nice that they have free bikes and kayaks.

United States of AmericaOur stay was very good. It would have been perfect if it weren't for the following two issues: 1. The heater for the pool next to our unit was broken. This should have been detected and fixed before our stay. The staff told us about the third pool in the dockside property (3 min walk) when I reported that the water was cold. The other pool was warm, but inconvenient. We would have used the pool next to us one more time/longer, if the heating was working. 2. Some of the bikes are really old and need service/replacement. The chains on two of our bikes kept popping off during our bike ride to the bridge which was frustrating and didn't allow us to bike as long as we wanted. The staff scheduled their bike service person to fix these after we reported it. The following were minor issues, that didn't impact us too much, but are important to fix: 3. A few broken things, that were reported after we left, that hopefully are fixed before the next guest: a. Microwave turn table didn't rotate. The exhaust fan was extra noisy. b. The dishwasher had water standing in the drain. Probably clogged due to food. c. The kitchen faucet was loose. d. The dryer had lots of lint in the filter since it hadn't been cleaned out for a while it seemed. e. The sewer plumbing running just below the ceiling of the carport leaks when the flush on the main floor bathroom is used. Almost got splattered by that. I informed the staff of all of the above. Hopefully these should be addressed quickly for future guests. 4. Minor aesthetic: the lighting in the house was a mixture of multiple light temperatures (bright white 5000K and natural light 2700K bulbs), which made it a bit odd. Generally a room should have a single temperature/color, not mixed light temperatures in the same room.
Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Good value for the money for a family of six. Buffet breakfast at the restaurant had lots of options. The unit was nicely renovated/redecorated from inside, with trendy setup/furnishings, comfortable beds. Layton Key central between Key West and Key Largo, but nice and quieter than other keys. Close proximity to Long Key State Park. The extra activities at the resort were an added bonus: pools, bikes, kayaks, SUP, chess, private beach/pier.

United States of AmericaThe continental breakfast wasn't bad but was a bit limited and didn't include any hot items. Also, doesn't exactly feel like a "resort" as the beach/swimming area was pretty limited (I didn't really mind this, especially with the kayak/SUP options, but sharing so that others know what to expect). None of these things were a huge deal and the property was really nice, otherwise.
Very large/spacious room that was clean and modern/well-kept; great for our group of four people. Nice sunset view from the pier. Convenience shop right next door. Access to kayaks and SUPs was a great plus.

Italywe had a big issue wity sand flies on the beach, both me and my wife the day after our stay found dozen of bites on our body, expecially on mine probably more than 50, on feet, legs and back. Not faulty of the Motel, but we should have been advised about this situation, we cannot be the only guest with this issue

IsraelAmazing view, and just a perfect little piece of heaven. The Kayaks / Sap / Bikes usage is included in the price in super worth it. It's just incredibly relexing and fun to have it always avialable. Some of the rooms are a bit old, but overall its a very good value if you like the sea and relexation.

United States of AmericaI know this is silly but I wish they had a list of the TV channels. I didn't go there to watch TV but I do like to watch a little TV before I go to sleep. I just think having a list of channels would be nice. I know it's silly.
This was my fifth time at the Line Tree Bay Resort and I love this place. They have been doing some updates to the resort and I was pleasantly surprised to see that the bathroom had been updated.

United States of AmericaThe internet was a bit spotty but wasn’t a huge deal when the trip was more about relaxing.
It was very clean, room was spacious with good amenities within, mini kitchen. Things to do such as kayaking, biking and paddle boarding offered by the property. The balcony view facing the ocean was incredible.

United States of AmericaI thought that the resort was in Islamorada but it was actually in Long Key, just outside of Islamorada. The beach could have been bigger and the water more accessible.
Continental breakfast every morning was a plus. Location was excellant. We stayed in the townhouse which was spacious and clean but across the street from the actual resort; A minor inconvenience.

United States of AmericaNot a thing!
Our room had the perfect amount of space. It was clean and well-lit. It was decorated good for the beach. We chose the continental breakfast. It was very-well stocked with good amount of variety for breakfast without having anything cooked. The beach was absolutely gorgeous! I loved the free paddleboats, kayaks, and bicycles. The counter ladies were so accommodating and friendly in asking out questions. Met wonderful people from Germany and New York. Enjoyed hammocks and corn hole game.

United States of AmericaThere was only one comfortable chair in our room, which was disappointing. The balcony table had seen better days but the chairs on our balcony were fine.
The grounds of the resort were really lovely. The views from every room were fabulous. They had plenty of chairs, lounges and hammocks around that were well spaced and even when it was crowded, it never felt that way. The pool was clean and well kept and the corn hole, chess and ping pong table were all fun to use. They texted us every day to make sure we had everything we needed and to ask if we had any special requests.
