Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomThe rooms were very comfortable and lots of little extras to add that personal touch. The owner David was very friendly and the tour of the house was very interesting. Breakfast was delicious and served in the formal dining room so very special. The grounds were beautifully kept and there were lots of places around on the porches to sit and chill and enjoy the house and scenery. I can highly recommend staying here.

Such a treat to stay in a real Antebellum House. We stayed in Marjorie’s Room (and met the delightful Marjorie during our stay). In particular we loved the back porch and spent several hours sat in rocking chairs soaking up the atmosphere, a well needed break in the middle of a hectic road trip. Breakfast was really good, served in the beautiful period dining room with true Southern hospitality.

We felt like guests not like customers. Marjorie also organized a tour through historic Natchez with Sally which was great. The house tour with Sam was so interesting, too bad we had to leave early. We loved Linden B&B and would definitely come again. Highly recommend!

United States of AmericaWe arrived about 9 pm after a really long drive. There was an envelope with information which was difficult to read in low lights. It was very difficult to find our room, too, and frankly, after the long drive I was cursing the management. We didn't get the WiFi info so that was a problem, too. Breakfast was really average. I am not sure I would stay there again because of the hassle of my check-in experience.
Beautiful property and very clean.

United KingdomEverything about the hotel itself was lovely! I suppose one way it could improve would be availability of drinks or food later in the day as it's not very walkable into Natchez itself, but that's more of a suggestion rather than a criticism. We loved our stay.
Fantastic hosting, and a beautiful location. Linden is an extremely peaceful and scenic place to relax. We had a wonderful couple of nights there. Everything was very clean and the bed was particularly comfortable. We loved the soft sheets. The tour was fascinating and we really enjoyed our Southern breakfast.

CanadaThe breakfast was very generous and delicious even if I'm not a big fan of pancakes. Very good coffee and very nice lady who was serving breakfast. Beautiful historical house. Best part of our stay was the tour given the morning after by the owners' husband. Very nice and friendly gentleman who gave us the tour. It was very interesting and informative. He answered all of the questions that we had related to the house and the area.

SpainBreakfast was fine, but would have preferred to have more choices—some fruit or a vegetarian choice instead of meat, for example.
Very nice and clean bed and breakfast located at a historic Southern house. Beautifully kept. Had all the amenities needed. Conveniently located, a 5-10 min drive everywhere in town. Check-in was easy. The staff was welcoming. Loved the room and the complimentary house tour!

United Kingdomonly constructive comment would be to have a kettle or separate means of heating water for making tea so as not to rely on the coffee machine for heating the water.
the atmosphere was so relaxing and comfortable. ability to sit on the veranda, read, drink tea was appreciated.. it was also great to interact with other guests and enjoy the company. the house had history and we were given a talk about this history after breakfast. This historic b&b is amazing! We were greeted when we arrived even though it was late and raining. We loved the beautiful property and the wrap around porches with rocking chairs. we stayed in Dick’s Suite, which was huge and beautifully decorated. The shower had great water pressure and the beds were super comfortable (and huge!). The staff were all so friendly. The breakfast was delicious. They even gave a tour of the home as part of our stay, which was engaging and interesting. I would highly recommend staying here!
